To my nose, this smells like a sharp, piercing lemon pledge with a moldy, damp undertone.

The citrus notes are so synthetic and harsh to my nose, I can’t stand it. I have absolutely no idea how people think this smells anything like Aventus, they’re not even in the same universe.

I would recommend roja elysium before this if you’re looking for something “aventus” esque

Not a fan of the opening whatsoever, it’s a bit too fruity smelling and synthetic smelling. Once the dry down starts, it’s a bit better. The leather note is pleasant and straightforward, but still rather synthetic. There’s also a sourness that I’m not the biggest fan of. It’s also cloyingly sweet which im not a fan of at all.

I much prefer tuscan leather, it’s not sweet and the leather note is of a much, MUCH higher quality. However, ombre leather is easier to wear and is more versatile.

i love tuscan leather and ombre leather, but this stuff made me want to dry heave. There's a very repulsive smell this gives off, i think it's the abundance of fruit notes mixed with the rose. It's noxious.

I do love the smell of rose, but i've found when it's mixed with leather...i become very repulsed.

its not a "bad" smell, but it really does smell cheap for how ludicrously expensive it is. $400 for 50ml is beyond disgusting, thats even worse than creed pricing.

to my nose, its just so synthetic/chemical smelling. I guess i was expecting something a bit more refined and natural smelling for how much they're charging and because of the name. Smells like cheap, scented baby wipes

Lets get this out of the way first, yes, it’s an oud wood clone, through and through. HOWEVER, it’s much stronger and much more intense. It’s like oud wood’s older brother.

If you love oud wood but hate its dogshit performance, get this instead. Quality is as high, if not higher than TF’s liquid, it’s an extrait de parfum, and it’s still slightly cheaper than the TF variant.
