Surprisingly fruity/green
I discovered it by chance yesterday, almost tripping over it as I entered my favorite perfumery. There was a table with offers that didn’t really interest me in the way. I was looking for sun care for the upcoming vacation, wanted to walk past, and then this turquoise caught my eye... oh-Mediterranean, Red Sea, lagoons... I immediately reached for it and also saw a coral-colored version. I sprayed the coral fragrance first, planning to treat myself to the other one later. I quite liked the pink scent, but it wasn’t really for me-but then... the blue-green bottle... a zesty fresh fragrance that immediately reminded me of fico di Amalfi, but not as harsh, fresher, more delicate-but great!! Then I smelled citrus notes and warm woods, and I immediately found this composition to be a wonderfully summery vacation or good mood scent. I love fig scent, but I don’t like to eat figs-strange! It’s green, you feel like you’re sitting in the shade of fruit trees by the sea. Aquatic notes are slightly noticeable but subtle and not artificially aquatic, I like it a lot, it’s now mine-but I think it could be a bit more long-lasting. The design of the bottle can be a matter of opinion, but it definitely evokes a desire for vacation! No matter, at that price you’re happy to spray it on more often.

Armand Basi - a unique scent journey
This unique fragrance has accompanied me for 10 years every autumn to spring. I discovered it in a small perfumery after a cosmetic treatment - no, it discovered me... A beautician with her little fine shop showed me some special scents that are not sold everywhere. She sprayed me with this wonderful fragrance and I immediately found myself in an oriental market... I sniffed cardamom with citrus nuances - great blend - not too heavy - simply successful - fresh and spicy - and the wonderful rose scent from the flower stand next door joined in... not dominating - just delicate - jasmine blossoms were blown by the wind. I then rested in the shade of the trees - enjoyed the view over the market and breathed in fresh woods and damp moss - all of this is Armand Basi! I treated myself to the great red 100ml bottle and went back to the hotel. Here I was approached multiple times by different gentlemen and ladies about this scent - a complete success - it enchanted everyone. Something special that, thank God, never found its way into conventional perfumeries and for me always the scent that I never revealed. Only here among the true lovers of fragrances - I sell a bottle of Eau de Parfum in the souk.

old love never rusts
With this fragrance, opinions are divided - you either love it or hate it - and quite intensely. I have experienced both feelings with it - madness - how one can change, it seems like with a long-lost lover from school days, for whom you once swooned to the point of self-sacrifice and for whom years later you only have a tired, pitying smile left.
Yes, I loved it, it was in 1990 when a colleague always wore it in rotation with another fragrance - you could smell her through all the hallways and doors - I followed this scent trail like a sniffing dog and eagerly asked her about this secret. She revealed it to me, and it didn't take long before it was in my bathroom. My husband liked it too - I was thrilled by this bitter, special note - which I had never perceived similarly before, this longevity made me feel special, mysterious. Great that not everyone smelled like it.... After using two bottles in a row, there was a pause - there was so much new stuff.
Then years later (2009), I saw it very cheaply at Schlecker. I was surprised and bought it untested immediately - back to it - old love, but - oh horror - at home, it seemed strict to me - strangely sharp - almost irritating - disgusting... how can this be? Was it reissued? Had my sense of smell gone so wrong? I didn't understand it - my new husband, coming home from work, immediately wrinkled his nose and made no cautious comment - but asked me to keep that stench away from him. I wanted to defend it - my old love, but I agreed with him - it is no longer for me - since then it stands taboo in the guest toilet waiting for its use as a toilet spray. However, I will now dispose of it, as it - sorry - is no longer even suitable for that - because other little scents disappear faster than it - the unloved one. What bothers me and others about it - I absolutely do not know exactly - is it the rose - the tuberose or gardenia - probably too overwhelming a mix??

Resting in the Shady Orange Grove
I have owned this fragrance since September 2012. During a vacation in Mallorca, when I was so hot while strolling through the city and desperately craved a fresh orange grove in addition to shade and drinks, it was introduced to me in a perfumery among others.
For me, it is a somewhat bitter, very aromatic wellness scent that pleasantly cools and refreshes in the heat - you can generously spray it on without worry - even the clothing benefits and still smells good the next day. The scent is somewhat citrusy, but that’s what I wanted. When it accompanied me to the mountain village of Soller with its orange plantations, it simply became the perfect unobtrusive companion and will likely remain so in hot countries. I associate it with a fragrant orange tree under whose shade I rest to continue conquering the hot south... a great zesty scent that smells like vacation!

Energy and Freshness Surrounds You!
If I had to choose one favorite among many - it would be Wrapping - absolutely and time and again - unfortunately, it is still very hard to find today - mainly available during the Christmas season as a gift combo with body lotion.
Wrapping initially enveloped a colleague of mine daily in this well-perceptible yet never intrusive scent cloud... I asked about it and tested it right away on myself - love was born... Wrapping delighted not only me, but also my friends and husband loved it on me... people often said - ahhh mmmhhh Petra is here too - although it was really never intrusive.
Green chypre fragrances are my weakness - and when clove is combined with hyacinth, nutmeg, and mossy notes plus musk - wonderful. For me, it's an energy kick - similar to what is expected from wellness scents today - however, wellness was not yet such a worn-out term back then. It simply felt good, made me happy and active! It is the only fresh green scent that really lasts very well. Young perfume saleswomen often do not know it and simply do not believe it. "Fresh scents do not last long" - but in this composition, it is unique and has never been imitated even remotely. I know several women who loved it very much and will never understand why it disappeared back then.
