Why does perfume have to be so expensive? The appeal of JAR.

JAR. These letters stand for the abbreviation of the name of the creator. The house has several perfumes, but one stands out. Its beauty hits like a "Bolt of Lightning" and that is the only description it has. What is in it? We don't know and we are not supposed to know. Each individual sniffing any of the JAR perfumes is supposed to form her own impression.

What prompts me to write this blog? An article by KAFKA in her website KAFKAESQUE. Wow, this lady writes good. She leads the reader through the experience of sniffing various JAR creations in a novel way while dealing with the representative of the house. JAR insists on their way and philosopy. I was duly impressed. I only regret that there is no way to obtain a sample to get even a whiff of that precious and beautiful (so say more than one commentator) "Bolt of Lightning".

Yes, thank you for sharing. I agree with their philosophy. Go in open-minded so you can be free to explore. The worst times are at stores when SA's insist on choosing perfumes for me based on current popularity, spraying them on paper strips and handing the paper to you. It always seems so obnoxious to me when they wave those papers in the air at me and demand an opinion. But then again, if I start talking notes, at times they're lost and get vague looks in their eyes. Really, I just want to experience a few perfumes.
