Hype Worthy?
I'd like to start my review with a very succinct clone comparison:
This scent is definitely not an exact clone for Aventus. Which of the clones is the best, is certainly Aventus batch and personal taste, but this one is certainly the very best as far as the top note is concerned!
- Al Haramain Laventure has a better base note, sillage and projection (old batches!)
- Armaf CDNIM EDT has a better smoke note than NOI
- Afnan Supremacy Silver is weaker and more synthetic
- Lattafa Al Dur Al Maknoon is much worse, not really an Aventus clone
- Mont Blanc Explorer is very linear and weak in performance
- Rasasi Rumz Al Rasasi 9325 pour Lui has the Aventus DNA but is not really a clone
- Swiss Arabian Shawq has nothing directly to do with Aventus but has a strong pineapple and is overall synthetic
Scent progression:
This fragrance has an incredibly pleasant top note. It starts with a very natural fruity really mouth watering pineapple and a fresh juicy sweet green apple with a fresh citrus bergamot note. If you focus on it, you can also smell the currant but it wouldn't immediately come to mind if I smelled it blindly. You should not immediately hold the fragrance to your nose after spraying, as it already stings a bit in the nose, rather smell it from a slight distance or wait a few minutes.
I do not know how the smoke note was implemented, but I assume quite strongly from Ambroxan...since it is a slightly synthethic woody smoke. In the little brother Supremacy Silver, the smoky note is clearly more synthetic and you perceive a slightly ham-like smoke, but in the big brother more of a woody-synthethic sweetish smoke, which I personally like better. Similar to the Montblanc Explorer in that respect as well. The smoky note is very subtle at the beginning and gains the upper hand over time and then remains as a base note with a hint of bergamot. I would not like to make an "overall" comparison in every respect, but what concerns the smoke note I find CDNIM and Laventure better.
The lavender and oakmoss start to add a very slightly pleasant sweet floral note with some depth after a few minutes in the background which makes the smoke sweeter. It's hard for me to paraphrase, but anyone who knows the good old batches of Laventure knows exactly what I mean by the oakmoss and depth, because this is extremely well implemented there. Here the lavender note outweighs the oakmoss, although both are very subtle. Love at this point to "DerPate1" :)
Performance:
The first 2-3 std one perceives a very strong projection and sillage. But from a "beast mode" performance you can not speak here yet. The sillage in this fragrance is very interesting. I try it times to paraphrase: the normal / active sillage is to be perceived about 3Std...and now comes the interesting...with a light wind one perceives the fragrance including top notes very well (I call it "passive sillage"), even outdoors!
The durability of the base note is extremely good. On clothes, the base note is still perceptible the next day from 20-30cm and lasts several days! Would it be the same base note as in L'aventure it would be for me a good substitute for L'aventure, but this has just a (syntehtisch-) woody-smoky base note. I think the sillage is over after 4-5std at the latest! . I.e. compared to Supremacy Silver is a clear performance increase there...also the top note is better.
Price / Performance:
I think for this price Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense is worth every penny as the performance is very good.
Summary:
Is the hype justified? I see this soberly and would rather say no if you already own a clone with which you are satisfied.
Why should you buy this one?
- Great scent and super performance at this price!
- If one finds Supremacy Silver great, but was dissatisfied with the performance
- If you don't already own a clone this one is certainly up there
- If you generally like fruity natural top notes and woody smoky base notes
- If you're an Aventus clone collector and not afraid of a blind buy :)

Not quite Supremacy!
After using up my favorite clone Al Haramain L'aventure, I also ordered Afnan Supremacy Silver and Armaf CDNIM EdT in addition to L'aventure in early July 2021.
One thing in advance, I was so far very enthusiastic about L'aventure and am disappointed beyond measure by the current batch, which you can read here:

Back to the Supremacy Silver...just by that name "Supremacy" I imagine absolute domination among the Aventus clones. Domination in every way "fragrance, scent progression, projection, sillage and longevity". In my experience so far with the old batches of L'aventure, this one can in no way compete, except for the more pleasant top note.
Fragrance:
Compared to the other clones, this one comes a little closer to the original, since the Annanas note is clearly perceptible.
Scent progression:
A scent progression is given, but rather one that quickly flattens. At the beginning you take very nice the combination of smoked pineapple and the pleasant citrus perceived...whereby the citrus scent for me rather represents a more mature citrus than a very fresh / tangy / sour. The smoky is also perceived here from the start, which becomes more prevalent over time. I credit this fragrance very positively for that. For my nose, the smoky here but has something very slightly "ham-like". It is not at all unpleasant but perceptible to me. Until the pleasant mossy-woody base note penetrates about 1 hour.
Projection and Sillage:
Initially, the fragrance has decent projection and the sillage is also good. But once the base note has penetrated after about 1 hour, the projection and sillage flattens out significantly. After about 3-4hours, the scent is only perceptible to me from half an arm's length. Similarly, the performance of the sillage.
Durability:
The fragrance is no longer perceptible on the skin after 3-4 for me. On clothes, the fragrance lasts more than 8 hours, but you have to sniff it to perceive it.
Conclusion:
If I now make a comparison between the current batches between Supremacy Silver, L'aventure and CDNIM EdT, then the order across everything (fragrance, scent progression, projection, sillage and durability) for me looks like this:
1) CDNIM (Batch# 316667, 09714 - PD:01/2021, Made in France) - despite the reformulation!
2) Supremacy Silver (BN: 4727/20 - PD:07/20, Made in UAE) -> If the performance were better, I would see this one at #1
3) L'aventure (BH:050421011604, Made in UAE) -> With the old performance, I would see this one at #1
I will be getting Al Dur Al Maknoon by Lattafa and Montblanc Explorer soon to compare them accordingly.

All good things are reformulated - RIP L'aventure!
i ordered my first bottle in the summer of 2017 and was thrilled to the last drop in every respect of this fragrance! Now the good thing is used up :( In comparison with the CDNIM of Armaf at the time I had liked L'aventure not only because of the fragrance but also because of the performance much better (is ultimately a matter of taste and unfortunately also batch).
I have it now reordered at the beginning of July 2021 from the same source (N*t*n*) and am disappointed beyond measure, because it has nothing to do with the fragrance and perfomance, what I knew so far! I do not think it is because of the source of supply, but a reformulation!
Just so you better understand my disappointment, I'll try to tell you the performance or my experience. After I had worn the fragrance the first time in the office (open-plan office!), I have made strange observations around me. Work colleagues would come near my workspace and stand around and then walk on...I never put it down to my scent though. That same week, a co-worker came by and commented that it smelled so nice in the office today. She said, "Kind of like fresh rain, fruity and like being in the woods"...she wondered if it was coming from the air conditioner because it was currently raining. I still hadn't put it down to my perfume, as I didn't notice it myself after a while.
The next day, another colleague (early 40s) walked past me and after about 3m behind me she said quite loudly "Stoooop [My name]). I was first shocked, then she came smiling at me and said: "Eeeendlich, now I know that's you!". I was confused at first and she looked at me with shining eyes and said: "For days we've been asking each other in the office who wears this awesome scent and now I've found out, it's you!". She added that several ladies in the office were curious and they had been talking among themselves about the scent. She immediately wanted me to tell her the name of the perfume.
A few days later, she came back to me and said, "You were in the canteen earlier, right? I could smell you!"
Now imagine what it means when a lady in the canteen where it smells like food can detect my scent because of the sillage, even though I was no longer there....so much for performance! And no, I have not sprayed half the bottle on me, but always about 6-8 sprays.
From the current bottle comes out a very attenuated fragrance, which is perceived rather close to the skin and after about 1Std completely evaporates (even on clothes!). The old scent I could perceive on clothes until I washed them! I could perceive the scent on worn t-shirts in the following days from about 2 meters myself. The scent composition also seems to have changed. With the old one, I could strongly perceive the "resinous" at the beginning until later the actual scent had unfolded and lasted for all eternity. With the current variant I perceive from the beginning of a weakened smoky citrus scent and that's it.
I wonder why companies wi Al Haramain have to carry out a reformulation when they can snatch a certain market share from Creed with this fragrance? Is that why there is now the variant "L'aventure Itense" to get more money for the old formulation and to take advantage of the continuing high demand and save costs?
Current batch code (ordered 03/07/2021): BH:050421011604.
The flacon lid now also has "Since 1970" printed under the "Al Haramain" lettering, which my old flacon did not have.
Batchcode of 2017: search I still out and carry it here, as I have the big box stowed somewhere
By the way I messaged Al Haramain via their whatsapp. The reply came back that they will check if you have changed the fragrance.
Has anyone had similar experiences or did I just get a "Monday production" with the current order?

"Out of the shower" Arab
The previous speakers have very divided opinions about this fragrance. One of them doesn't give the Rasasi brand a chance with this fragrance anymore, the other one talks about the new Cool Water.
I respect both opinions and have a completely different opinion about this fragrance. Maybe something has changed in the composition over time.
This fragrance begins with a sweet and citric note, while being aquatic and slightly masculine and floral. After about 15-20min, it has a great similarity to Versace Pour Homme, but is not as "loud" as VPH for the first 2 hours, although VPH is more of a fragrance that you perceive up close. After that it is muted as fast as VPH.
I find this fragrance to be a very pleasant "out of the shower" scent...fresh, invigorating, citrusy, slightly spicy and creamy. The spiciness goes in the direction of "Versace Dylan Blue" but is reduced by factors, practically like when you had VDB on your skin 12 hours ago.
In my opinion, the fragrance is suitable for the office, as it can hardly bother others and is only perceptible from close up. You can't do anything wrong with this fragrance if you like fresh scents. I haven't tried it yet, but I think you can wear this fragrance very well if you want to get closer to your partner and don't want to smell like perfume, but fresh and clean.
I am critical of the name EDP for this fragrance. From an EDP I actually expect more performance in terms of sillage and durability, especially since the house of Rasasi is known for other fragrances (Dareej, Tasmeem, Shuhrah, Shaghaf etc.). At the same time I don't want to be too critical, because fresh aquatic fragrances often suffer from performance and at this price (under 20€ for 75ml), you can also spray vigorously and refill after 3-4 hours
Would I buy the scent again? I think so, because I like the scent and it makes me feel positively summery. If there was an alternative that offered more performance in a similar price range (under 30€), I would not buy it again.

Sex after the club visit

To imagine this strong fragrance composition, you should imagine the following scenario:
You were out all night in a noble club wearing a fragrance that smells both floral and tobacco like. You were wearing a leather jacket which was mixed with "tolerable cigarette smoke" in the club. On the drive home, you take a lady home who sits on your leather back seat and you sense the smell of her powder. You also very easily sense that she has been drinking. There's something animalistically very attractive about the two of you. You can't wait and both of you fall over each other as soon as you get home. Now you have to imagine the scent composition of the whole night at once...A smoky, leathery and at the same time sweet-flowery-powdery scent, which rewrites the whole night for hours on end after the lady is gone the next morning.
The fragrance is in my opinion something for Casanovas between 30-50 years and nothing for Babyfaces! You should never wear this scent in the office. Rather on cooler evenings, in autumn or winter. One sprayer is enough, two are beast fashion deluxe and three are already too much and has potential for headaches!
The scent is perceived by you as much "heavier, smokier and leatherier" than by ladies who smell it near you. They usually perceive a sweetish, masculine, animalistic and at the same time slightly leathery and wine-like scent.
I could also share my girlfriend's reaction, but I'll let that go for now, maybe no one is interested either!
