Chewbacca?! Or not from this world...
Somehow this name inevitably came to my mind in comparison with Champaca and I had to smile. Because as shrill as the voice of the Wookiee from Star Wars this TF does not come along, also it has no hair on the teeth. At best, he could take it with his strength. Champaca Absolute has a lot of power and you are willing to go down on your knees after the first spray. Not that a amok-running bergamot or stinking blossoms will push your legs through, no, it's the Tokaj and the cognac note that I feel. So to a certain extent I have only exceeded my very personal blood alcohol limit by inhaling. For a moment the fragrance remains in its powerful brandy banner in the air and on the skin, but then it undergoes a very beautiful but also idiosyncratic change. Well, the prelude in itself is self-willed enough. But here some of the fragrances are unpacked and put in such a way that you hardly get behind with discovering. A floral, ethereal and greenish note blends into the wines and the fragrance becomes more pungent, intense and slightly acidic. Here, too, a moment passes and the journey through further aromas finally continues. Jasmine and broom finally push the acidity quite away and a dense and floral syrupy liquid remains with a still well perceptible alcohol note. Anyone who knows the Burberry Body knows what I mean here. There the Absinthe note is also perceptible throughout the course. After a good quarter of an hour of this scent register drawing, CA reaches a stage in which it encapsulates itself from the previous story and individually gets involved with the skin of the wearer. CA is quite unisex and due to the portable notes for both, it will develop differently on every skin. Does each smell anyway, you might think, but if one makes such a fool of fish and birds, then in any case something else will come out for everyone who wears it. With my own rather sweet skin scent, CA becomes more flowery and even sweeter. It's like snowing over the wines and flowers with icing sugar. Everything is still a bit strenuous and you should take it slowly with the dosage. The Ford's are known for their powerful performances, so it never hurts to cut every drop in half. In addition, as mentioned above, there is the aspect of different skin chemistry, which will also contribute to the development of fragrance. I'd rather wait and see what happens. So with me it gets sweeter, richer and from the base note I can sniff out the chestnut with a little imagination, but the rest is already mixed in. Here an incredibly sensual and engaging warmth rises from my scented skin and CA increasingly becomes a really beautiful and high-quality arranged fragrance. Even if you have the feeling at the beginning, they simply put everything into it that was in the lab or that they were "using leftovers", because some notes sound almost contradictory. But finally, I have to say that each of these ingredients, once opened, works with the others towards exactly one goal. They should delight all the senses and create an unparalleled fragrance experience. And here we are again at Chewbacca. Because just as this hairy figure is from another star, so the Champaca Absolute by Tom Ford also seems to me as not from this world...

Christmas pipe magic or time travel into childhood
I'm actually a non-smoker, but with the smell is even passive smoking fun ;-)!
TV by TF, yes I can't leave the abbreviation alone, it sounds too good, is one of my fragrances that is so different. No flowering, no fruit alarms, no rose bushes, no almonds, no chocolates. Nevertheless, he seems to effortlessly join the illustrious crowd, without the use of elbows or edges. And while I'm writing the first lines here, my senses are slowly drifting towards foggy bliss.
The opening is clearly male in the first moment and very powerful. Aromatic spice mixture dips into tobacco, tobacco and tobacco again...tobacco taste so to speak. Luckily for me as a woman, the spices lose some of their pungent note and masculine touch through immersion. Don't misunderstand; on men's skin this station wagon is certainly breathtaking, but I don't want to smell it that way. Therefore I am relieved that the defusing is not long in coming. This is really about seconds. Then the fragrance becomes much more harmonious and soft. Nevertheless, you have to admit that you have to like something like that, because when the tobacco starts, it's the right thing to do. Somehow he seems like he's dipped in caramel syrup. Thick and tough, it runs down the tobacco leaves and drips almost thread-pulling onto the underlying wood. Resinous, sticky, sirupy, balsamic and infinitely delicious. For me the TV of TF, yes yes the abbreviations, long speech is short meaning, actually a molasses-like liquid, which smells stunningly after exactly three outstanding notes: tobacco, wood and even caramel. In the pyramid instead there are cocoa and vanilla, maybe the tobacco touch will give them that caramel-like touch for me. Anyway, my nose always sends me the same three pictures into my scented brain. I think this fragrance is best used in winter or cool autumn. In times when cuddling is the order of the day and moving together. Where one longs for warmth around the heart, as well as those of bodies to defy the cold. Carefully dosed, it unfolds a warm, soft feel-good zone, which you can easily turn into an absolute stoner's hut with exaggeration. Too much of it and you wish yourself to Siberia to escape the smell inferno! Here is definitely less simply more, gentleness is better than "solid druff" and modesty is rewarded with an incredibly long lasting and foggy addictive scent. Somehow he's a bit of a pipe smoker, too. As a child I often had the pleasure of attending an uncle's ritual with a pipe and tobacco. I was fascinated by his professional movements and always looked forward to what came afterwards. When the smell of the match was gone, it was there. This incredibly delicious smelling smoke from the tobacco mixture, also with this caramel note. That was already then a celebration for my little nose and particularly fine in the Christmas season. And there's this captivating scent from back then in the bottle too. Because of him, every day I wear him in the colder months is a little bit Christmas for me all the time...

Aurum - When blue turns to gold
A spray and I think I find myself in a mountain of freshly washed, super-power washed and just removed from the washing drum. I feel like the three footballers in a current German advertisement for fragrance pearls as a washing additive, who actually want to take off their jerseys and just barely make it to the nose, but then get stuck in the fresh laundry scent so to speak. This impression of fabric softener scent seems to me to be taken from the beginnings of my "softening knowledge" when I was a child. So "the" one and very specific fragrance and in color rich light blue. Not like today, where every conceivable aroma can be purchased as softener. It is the classic, fresh and simply blue juice, which you inhaled with your soul and enjoyed the fresh laundry as long as possible. Usually the whole block smelled like it and even later, when the blue was replaced by other fragrant competitors, one always knew who had just washed in the house. Simply with the original note.
The impression from the beginning right after spraying lasts a moment, then ambergris and raspberry slow down the slightly pungent note. Nevertheless, the fragrance remains intense. It can rebel in the head and is therefore not suitable for every nose. Especially not for those who do not like opulent and densely woven floral scents with a fruity impact. Powdery and vanilla and with a dash of jasmine, the fragrance is gradually refined to a trace, so that it becomes a little rounder and the stinging end is removed from the beginning. But he's still strong. It remains in this phase from about a quarter of an hour. It will never fade completely. He keeps himself with all the strength of his scent molecules on the surface on which he has been sprayed and so a test cloth still smells days after to dispose, my sleeve still reminds me of him and he is even so anchored in my head that I feel like a piece of chocolate or a fruit tart. A little and cunning seducer is the!
Ajmal Aurum is fierce, demanding and challenging at the same time, strong flowery and fruity and should be used with care. Here again it is worth sharing...the sharing of individual drops to their minimum, because even so the fragrance will still be able to seduce long enough. After all, one Casanova is enough and you don't need an army!
I feel like I'm being served a jar. It contains light blue and viscous liquid. In it is a filigree little spoon decorated in gold, with which I should stir the liquid. Carefully I let the spoon move around in circles and the more I do that, the more it suddenly draws golden traces behind it. Curious and fascinated I accelerate the stirring and the gold color runs more and more through the blue until it has finally taken it over completely.
That's how I see Aurum. And how blue turns to gold...

Green Lantern
Like an oriental lamp it comes from there and the colour green could not fit in my opinion better to this smell. The bottle is heavy and angular in the hand. You have to lever a bit to unlock the lid, which still keeps the fragrant secret under lock and key. There is only the inner lid housing made of plastic and everything else is really metallic and surrounds the heavy hexagon like an "iron fist". The green glass reminds me of the oriental lamp as well as of a green growing gemstone that rises out of a rock. On the other hand, you can't hurt yourself on the bottle, unless you get it fried over, because the heavy part will do more than a lot of work ;-)
To the smell: A spray is enough and the apartment is gradually lulled by it. Heavy and thick, deep and sensual, for me Neroli, Tuberose and Jasmin lie down in the air, wafting through the rooms until they are all completely occupied. I myself am already halfway in a trance. What a scent!
I have seldom sniffed such an opulent, thick-blooded and exquisite thing. Finely tuned, round and sensual-elegant, the three of them first make their rounds through the corridors and rooms alone, before they absorb and unite with the base note in all its sweet green and slightly leathery note. Those who were able to stand on their own until then will now be brought to their knees completely and in the most positive sense. In front of such a scent I overcome even the worst rheumatism in my knee and humbly approach my carpet, pure pathos. What a fragrance experience! Overwhelming, engaging, commanding and even a little erotic for me, because of its sensual-warm and profound aspects, which when further tested on my skin, exuberant and playfully dancing their seductive way up through my nose and to the brain. It's as if a group of the smallest elves had been freed from the bottle, and now they're shyly giggling behind their little hands and jingling their eyelashes in the air playing their games with you. So determinedly flirting that one cannot defend oneself, so hidden and at the same time enchanting and entrancing through their shyness, that one does not even notice how one is already sitting in the (perfume) trap. If I were a man, I would feel as if singing sirens would mercilessly spin me in with their sounds and lead me so bound to my downfall.
I don't think that smell's gonna be any woman's cup of tea. For those of you who are into heavy, balsamic-floral and slightly green fragrances with a special value and want to use them as your own secret weapon, the "Dahlia" is just right. Somewhat melancholic, very sensual and feminine he wraps you in thick, green and very weighty velvet. Not a scent to be found on every corner. It's a jewel both inside and out. Not for spreading the word, unless on this line. "Dahlia" is a seductive fragrance, if you like it opulent-blooded and I would even say it has a certain smokiness and would not be surprised to find incense in the pyramid if I didn't already know it. Its opening is mercilessly loud, its course just as consistent and its durability with the really big ones. Just as the trio lay themselves down from the beginning and the base in themselves, so the fragrance remains as it is and that until its last breath is done.
In my collection he feels extraordinarily well, because he seems to be a mosaic stone again, which continues and increasingly completes my personal "picture of perfume".
Jesus del Pozo "Dahlia" made the jump from zero directly to my list "save if it burns" and conquered my heart by storm.

Purple Silk Plissée
In the beginning there is a strong pushing of mainly the freesia, the bergamot stretches her elbows, but the freesia is stronger. It is also the reason why I avoid fragrances with her in an all too high concentration, i.e. when she first appears in the heart or even base note. Then she actually remains too engaging for me, because nothing more can hold a candle to her. If she starts with others, then she still appears perceptible to me in the course of time, but more pleasant. This is the case here. She opens the choral song, but then gives it to other voices, while her own skilfully covers the background of the song. The green of her stem and the "flower holder" waft discreetly with it, like a quiet piano that only whispers the piece. In this fragrance the freesia carries a beautiful purple for my perception. I don't perceive it as pink as others. In addition there is the violet note, which steers my colour perception even more away from the Rosaton. The other aromas with their spots of colour cannot change this for me either. Lila is how it begins for me and Lila is how the song ends for me. In general, the fragrance is floral fresh, slightly smoky and strangely cool at the same time. I have already noticed this warm coolness in the TL Silk Way and believe I can sniff it here as well. Some kind of signature in scent to scent. It is a contradictory perception between cuddly, attracting and slightly rejecting, stalling. TL Pour Elle also sounds the same. And yet one feels well taken care of, preserved and soothed with all of them. And always well "dressed", stylish, feminine and self-confident. Over time, musk is added, a little patchouli I like to guess and a very noble and unsweet vanilla, which together give the fragrance the "Woman". I don't notice the other notes and I don't miss them either. This TL is perfect in itself, the intention in the naming is fulfilled and it captivates with a mature, slightly classic or breathy class note with a decent sillage and the usual firm TL durability. A fragrance for the whole year, definitely one for every situation and even more one to feel well-groomed and feminine. The bottle is symbolically designed and its foot reflects my perception of the delicate fabric.
Simply a fragrance like a dress made of purple silk plissée...
