"Ajmal" a fragrance that lives up to its name.
Ajmal means "more beautiful" in Arabic, and this fragrance is truly much more beautiful than other scents in its price range.

The scent is fruity, floral, and slightly powdery.

I smell a sweet raspberry combined with jasmine. The orange blossom is very clear to me, which makes the fragrance refreshing.

The musk and amber enhance the sillage and longevity significantly.

In the drydown, the woody notes become more prominent.

The longevity is very good; on clothing, the scent lasts until the next day or even longer.

The sillage is good and not overwhelming; it lasts up to 6 hours on the skin.

I can recommend this fragrance as a blind buy.

Although it is a women's perfume, a confident and adventurous man should not hesitate to wear it.

Aurum - When Blue Turns to Gold
One spray and I believe I find myself in a mountain of freshly washed, super-softened, and just-removed-from-the-dryer laundry. I feel like the three football gentlemen in a current German advertisement for fragrance beads as a laundry additive, who actually want to take off their jerseys but just manage to get them up to their noses, only to get stuck in the scent of fresh laundry. This impression of fabric softener scent seems to me like it was taken from the beginnings of my "fabric softener knowledge" when I was still a child. So "the" one and only specific scent, in a rich light blue color. Not like today, where every conceivable aroma can be purchased as a fabric softener. It is the classic, original fresh, and simply blue juice that allowed one to inhale deeply and enjoy the fresh laundry for as long as possible. Usually, the whole block smelled of it, and even later, when the blue was somewhat replaced by other fragrant competitors, one always knew who had just done the laundry in the house. Simply by the typical note.
The impression from the beginning right after the spray lasts for a moment, then amber and raspberry slightly temper the somewhat piercing note. Nevertheless, the scent remains intense. It can certainly rebel in the mind and is therefore not suitable for every nose. Especially not for those who do not like opulent and densely woven floral scents with a fruity touch. Powdery-vanilla and with a hint of jasmine, the slowly settling scent becomes even more refined, making it a bit rounder and easing the piercing quality from the beginning. It is still strong, though. After about a quarter of an hour, it remains in this phase. It will never completely fade. It clings with all the strength of its scent molecules to the surface it was sprayed on, and thus a test cloth still smells of it days later until disposal; my sleeve still reminds me of it, and it is even so firmly anchored in my mind that I crave it like a piece of chocolate or a fruit tart. It is a small and cunning seducer!
Ajmal Aurum is intense, demanding, and challenging at the same time, strongly floral and richly fruity, and should be used with care. Here, sharing is worthwhile again... sharing individual drops to their minimum, because even so, the scent will still be able to seduce enough. After all, one Casanova is enough; you don’t need an army of them!
I feel as if I am being handed a vessel. Inside is a light blue and viscous liquid. In it is a delicate gold-embellished spoon with which I am supposed to stir the liquid. Carefully, I let the spoon swirl around in circles, and the more I do this, the more it suddenly leaves golden trails behind it. Curious and fascinated, I accelerate the stirring, and the gold color spreads more and more through the blue until it finally takes it over completely.
This is how I see Aurum. And how blue turns to gold...

Ajmal ?!
Hello everyone.

I have been a fan of Ajmal for a while now, and since I have family in Southeast Asia, I have the luck to occasionally test some perfumes in the "Arab world".

For me, Aurum is completely atypical for Ajmal. I am more used to concentrated perfume oils with super ornate bottles and glass sticks (max 10 ml).

Well, Aurum is different

I like it :D

I don't have much to say about the scent... My predecessor puts it quite accurately. It's a lovely cozy scent that, I must admit, I sometimes spray on my pillow before going to sleep. It's nicely rounded, with no sharp edges. You can especially smell the orange blossom and raspberry.

I can definitely recommend buying it... The price is very reasonable... 50 ml + shower gel + body butter for 65 euros seems fair to me.

The bottle is a matter of taste... maybe a bit kitschy with the golden doodad on the cap.

Oh, please don't criticize my German; I haven't lived in Germany for years but still want to be part of this community... That's why I'm not such a great commenter like many of you.

Thank you
Best, swuuusch

Golden Raspberry
1. Act

The packaging makes its entrance.
Marbled in gold, resembling a play of light and shadow with a slight relief embossing, it creates the impression of liquid, molten gold, visually embodying the name of the fragrance. Aurum is the Latin word for gold. Black is the background for the embossed gold-colored name logo, and the entire interior of the packaging is also black. Securely nestled within is the bottle.

2. Act

The bottle appears. Cylindrical in shape, the lower two-thirds are completely gilded, providing a solid base. The upper third consists of transparent glass filled with gold-glittering plant parts/seed capsules. The glass element can be rotated, imparting a certain lightness. As a result, the bottle almost resembles a work of art. The spray head above is also gold-shining like the base. The bottle feels heavy yet secure in hand, and the spray button is easy to operate.

3. Act

The fragrance enters the stage with a buoyant spirit. Initially fresh and fruity - one can detect citrus notes and a very subtle raspberry - the floral heart develops very quickly, swelling into a full, lush bouquet of flowers on a soft and warm base that melts away. The floral notes blend into a wonderfully harmonious unity, with none pushing to the forefront or standing out unpleasantly. They are already supported by vanilla, amber, musk, and fine woods. All together, this creates a noble, unobtrusive fragrance aura that lasts for several hours and gradually retreats with a softly sweet, balsamic base.

Conclusion: Although gold as a color does not appeal to me, it is well chosen for this fragrance with its warm radiance. Aurum is a very beautiful floral-oriental creation from the Dubai-based house of Ajmal, which can certainly compete with the great Western fragrance creations. Aurum was nominated for Best Women's Perfume at the Arab Fifi Awards in 2011.

Fruity floral with a minimal oriental touch (musk powder): I've smelled it too often, so unfortunately it bores me.

A friendly, bright floral scent that becomes creamier over time. None of the notes stand out. Always wearable.

Successful orange blossom with sweet fruity notes, lots of powder, and musk. I think it's pretty good.

Soft like fabric softener with a certain warmth without being too sweet or heavy. Fruity-floral, completely intertwined - different than expected.

Creamy soft, slightly sweet, a bit woody. Smells just like laundry perfume. I think it's great.

A very floral scent with a lot of sweet orange liqueur. It feels quite heavy on my skin, which I get tired of after a short time.
