Wandering around at work, nonchalant and confident, aware that I was in a bubble of Paul Smith "London". The world was my oyster, leaving a trail of violet and coconut. " I don't like that smell" came the voice of a female colleague. Without encouragement she continued...." It's the scent of a desperate teenager, praying that they get lucky on a Friday evening". Shattered and with my bubble punctured, I now have a part bottle for sale.

A beautifully well balanced, modern fragrance for a mature man. No one note stands out, all of the notes combine to create a clean, Woody , very slightly sweet scent. There is a hint of oud, a touch of fruity sweetness, rich woods, and a nutty note. There is a slight lemon/ citrus that lasts for ten minutes.I enjoy this perfume the most from any middle eastern ones. Golden EDP reminds me of Bentley for men Intense, although much smoother and without the rum note.Very well blended, The performance is above average, but not nuclear. Would be suitable for everyday office / work. Creates the impression of unique, clean professional. Highly recommended

Chamber Rouge is a Spicy, woody, sweet scent. Has a very similar allure and appeal as The One by Dolce and Gabbana. performance seems on par with the Dolce and Gabbana superstar. Scent starts with a blast of Basil / Coriander, it settles after 5 or ten minutes and the woods, resin and slight sweetness from vanilla appear. As the fragrance drys down all the notes combine to produce a unique aroma. Fragrance snobs will pass Chambre Rouge by due to the low cost and lack of hype. I really enjoy my bottle, my wife who is a harsh critic actually very much likes Chambre Rouge. I'm about to buy a back up for the bargain basement price of £15....get one while you can........
