I'm not the best at detecting notes in a perfume at random if I read suggested notes it's easier for me to recognize from there what I might be smelling.

Having smelled Alien EdP I can now say that yes, it's a "replica" just because I don't want to say "dupe" xD.
Primark captured the essence of the sweet part of Alien EdP. It's more concentrated. Now I do have my Primark perfume for more than 5 years so this could also be a reason to why it smells stronger to me.

The "jasmin sambac" smells stronger in this version. I thought it was "a sweeter tuberose" but that's just me.

I tried my best at describing this perfume. If you like Alien EdP you'll definitely like this one.

Chalou, the scent of my childhood. The memory of this perfume has lingered in my scent memory for more than a decade now. It was that iconic to my 14 y/o self.

Now, if you've ever smelled this version and compare it to Davidoff Cool Water you'll realize the smell alike. Lidl has a pretty good dupe value in general. They give a good idea of what an actual perfume will smell like.
I'll give it a 10 for resemblance, simply because after all these years I never forgot what this perfume smelled like but once I got my hands on the original bottle, I immediately knew I had now found a piece of my scent memory back for good.

Was the Lidl version cheaper and a tad sharper? Sure! It was but it didn't loose the essence of the original perfume.

I just find it odd how long before this perfume was released people were already rating the performance of Cé Lumière as bad.

In order for people to get a fair idea about this new release of Cé Lumière, ratings shouldn't be made when the perfume was only released to the public this week of 28th November. Yet ratings on the this perfume had already been posted a month ago.

I understand people hate celebrity releases but that shouldn't interfere with the integrity of this site, you guys already have Fragrantica for that.
