Love goes through the nose!
Love is a truly wonderful and varied fragrance. Each phase of development is perceived clearly and distinctly, and they all differ from one another. In particular, the rose theme is clearly in focus here and is embraced by the other accords. A special olfactory experience that radiates pure femininity. Wonderful! For me personally, after A Taste of Heaven, it is clearly the second best by Kilian. Pure wonderful heavy rose fragrance pleasure. Very finely rounded off with the necessary hint of sweetness. It surrounds the wearer, safely enveloped in a very dense veil of scent. Love draws attention to itself and diligently spreads finely sweetened rose water. For me personally, a poem of seduction. As soon as my wife applies this, it’s all over for me!

The fire has gone out!
Light my Fire starts intensely and darkly with omnipresent accords of tobacco and leather. After the drydown, Light my Fire quickly becomes calmer, and a sweet woodiness mixes into the fragrance profile in a very minimalist way. However, the sweetness is only to be seen as a subtle accent and not as an independent fragrance component. The mixture of dark tobacco and the wood accord creates a very rounded and cuddly scent profile. After about 2 hours, a warm smoky note blends into this texture, but the fragrance also continues to retreat further onto the skin. Overall, Light my Fire is a truly finely tuned warm, dark, and distinctly masculine fragrance. The scent texture is wonderfully dense and envelops the wearer like a fine elegant veil. Unfortunately, the sillage is really minimalistic after about 1 hour, allowing the fragrance to be perceived only very closely and withdrawn. Longevity is also a problem, as after about 4-5 hours, the olfactory delight is already over. It's a pity because the fragrance profile itself is truly elegant and exudes a noble quality; unfortunately, this does not help a fragrance that remains shyly in the background and is barely noticed. Identityless Copying - instead of creating individual art yourself!
Intoxicate unfortunately smells like the A*Men by TM that I hate. The opening is intensely sour and sharply chemical. I cannot identify a single one of the components listed in the fragrance pyramid beneath all this dreadful core. Only a subtle spiciness occasionally mixes into the main scent profile reminiscent of A*Men. Despite the striking similarity to the Mugler "model," Intoxicate appears more elegant and subtle. The scent profile feels rounder and does not have the biting character of A*Men; even though the fragrance direction is the same, Intoxicate does not overwhelm you but at least tries to snuggle up pleasantly and be a wearable companion. Nevertheless, this is definitely the worst by Kilian fragrance for me. But I absolutely hate A*Men and consider it the greatest fragrance crime in the olfactory world, so Intoxicate never really had a chance. In short... Intoxicate is the more wearable and "elegant" A*Men. It should be noted, however, that after about 4 hours, with the arrival of the base, a transformation occurs. For the base indeed has its own character. Here, Intoxicate sheds the copying veil and impresses with a rather noble caramel-cinnamon-thyme accord. However, the waiting time until then is only partially worth it. No thanks!

The generic games have begun!
Forbidden Games starts like a fruit basket covered with flowers. The scent profile is completely generic and lacks identity. If I were presented with a range of fruity-floral-fresh mainstream perfumes of today, I certainly couldn't pick out Forbidden Games. The scent profile remains nearly identical from the top note to the base note, and is quite monothematic, focused on the scent of jasmine blossom. Besides this, at least on my skin, no other accord has any real strength. The jasmine is only slightly supported by the light acidity of the apple and a very synthetic fresh-sweetness. The scent texture feels dissonant and rather restless to me. Furthermore, the synthetic projection feels slightly biting and at times exhausting due to its constant acidity. Overall, Forbidden Games is thus forbiddenly insignificant and fits perfectly into the floral-fresh uniformity of the last 4 years. There are far better women's fragrances in this scent direction!

Not so Cruel - not so good!
An intense and long-lasting Oud fragrance par excellence. On my skin, the scent does not develop and presents itself solely as an Oud cloud. It feels too simple and too "oudy" for me. However, the Oud is very natural and not synthetic, which makes it acceptable for Oud lovers. Unfortunately, apart from the Oud, I can only faintly sense light woody accords; all other fragrance components are not recognizable to me. Nevertheless, Cruel Intentions deserves a chance.
