Vanilla Magic
This fragrance has such a simple note breakdown yet it feels quite rich in olfactory sense.
I am reviewing this from a perfume oil inspired version.
The opening is the strongest in allure in my opinion. Very vanillic with that ginger blend and it's a one way ticket to glory. Sometimes I get a shy pineapple scent though I feel it's just my nose.
The base becomes really woody with some recessed vanillic remnants making a final performance.
I don't get how this is classified as a synthetic scent, because to my nose, everything feels quite natural, unless the actual Parfum alcoholic version is different.
This is very strong btw and projects heavy. Perfect for special occasions and cold seasons.

Citrus par Excellence
After a long hike you retreat and grab yourself some ice cold orange juice with a dash of lemonade and sip this heavenly juice.
This is what this smells like. Atleast from my perfume oil inspired version.
Not too much going on here as per the notes but it's quite enchanting, uplifting, yet unique and softly seductive.
If you have worn Fa Heat Control deodorant, then this fragrance has some memories to it.
Nothing synthetic to it btw. The green mandarin is as real as it gets.
Performance may not be a strong suit but for the smell, grab it and douse yourself with it.
Such a diamond in the mud discovered.
10/10 for me.

I have never smelled the original La Nuit de l'homme just this and it's actually really nice to my olfactory senses.
The freshness of the bergamot and ginger give it that upper zest together with the cardamom.
I have never smelled any such combination ever which I think is brilliant from Dominique Ropion.
I find it wearable in all seasons especially night time.
Ladies drool over this like crazy. When you wear this as your bedtime scent next to your woman you will be devoured. I promise.

Smooth Criminal
The King of iris. Where it all started I believe.
I am using a perfume oil version and the richness and creaminess of the pear and iris is top notch.
This is a gentleman who is well dressed and reserved. Doesn't speak unless he has to.
