Stellar Acqua Di Gio Take!
This is one of those freshies that I have really been sleeping on. I tried this from a perfume oil sample and I was really impressed.

Opening with a prominent melon note supported with cucumbers, the scent is very refreshing and uplifting and feels slightly unique to my nose because I have never actually had a cucumber scent.

Then after a while you get that green mandarin, basil, clarysage and musk and this for me is where I really start to enjoy the scent even more with the herbal spiciness of that clarysage.

The melon note will remind you of Acqua Di Gio Pour Homme EDT and slightly of Blue Seduction by Antonio Banderas.

Most people say that this is forgettable but not me, I still think about this scent and get very excited when I am about to wear it.

Glad I didn't pass on this by listening too much to negative reviews.

Aventus for the Villain
This is the Aventus who is the villain in the story but somehow is still a hero, take for instance Dwayne Johnson in the movie 'Black Adam'.

Each time I wear it I just hear the background soundtrack being played and my testosterone shoots up through the roof. (For those who can't relate to the movie, sorry).

It's crazy just how a single fragrance can make you feel. Now this is the mysterious darker brother of Aventus who is rough and tough around the edges with that cinnamon, cloves, ginger and cardamom, whilst still retaining his charm of blackcurrant, pineapple (although dialled back), bergamot and now grapefruit which is front and center.

The best part for me is when the scent slowly morphs into something dark, as if saying like Captain Price in Call of Duty "Bravo 6, going dark".

Here the smokey effect is different from his brother coming from the vetiver and you can feel the oakmoss strongly on first application. The birch has fortunately been removed!

It feels like a special occasions scent and can be worn year round, just not in extremely hot weather.
I would love to try this in the winter come to the thought.

Cheers!

Solid 90's classic
I got this scent by mistake as I wanted Azzaro TMW Parfum, which I really love, but I ended up loving this as well.

It's fresh, gingery and slightly aquatic with a touch of tea from the mate. The ginger here really brings out the life of this scent.

It definitely feels like a 90's classic because it has a certain seriousness to it like Bvlgari Extreme, but this is much better to me because it has alot more going on.

This feels like Jacques Cavalier LV work to be honest and I was surprised to discover that it wasn't.

I would love to wear this formally with a green tea scent in my collection.

90's Business Vibe
I dunno but the first time I smelled this, I got a 90's formal business man in a suit on a bright early morning.

He could also be in Finance, Accounting or a Mathematics lecturer.

This scent has a very potent green tea mixed with some grapefruit which makes the opening very intense and green.

As the scent develops, I get an oakmoss accord similar to the one present in Azzaro Chrome EDT and Creed Aventus.

I was hoping that it wouldn't turn into CREED Aventus because I wasn't a fan of it surprisingly, but as I continued wearing this scent, it grew on me and I liked it (although I almost returned it).

If you love 90's scents like Silver Mountain Water, Chrome by Azzaro EDT and the likes with a dash of green tea, you will most definitely enjoy this.

I could tell that this was Jacques Cavalier's style as Pacific Chill has a slight resemblance to this for a few minutes. I actually wore the two scents together and I really enjoyed.

I would love to try it out with Silver Mountain Water next.

Hmm.. what's cooking?
I remember one time wearing this scent when I had flu, my sibling came to see me and as we greeted each other, she said, "..hmm.. what's that smelling like paprika? Are you cooking something?"

I then told her what's up and what I had going on. Btw I hadn't even showered and I was wearing yesterday's clothes, so yeah, that's when I knew this stuff was good, too bad I couldn't enjoy myself as I had a bad flu with a semi - blocked nose.

So you're gonna get a small dose of cherry (even though it isn't listed in the accords) with some chilli, cardamom, smoke and leather.

A bit of vanilla will also be smelled if you're keen in the background, giving it a sexy, mysterious dark and smooth vibe.

This is the kind of scent you wear on a chilly night out with great company on a great slow night like on a jazz event or even a dinner party.

You can still pull this off in the daytime but it has to be super chilly for you to love this.

For a great time, layer this with something like YSL Myslf Le Parfum or something from the Stronger With You line and give 'em hell.
