Well, what can one say, it is exactly what it says on the box: moss on Mount Arashi. At first, you mainly smell slightly damp earth on an early winter day, very mineralic, a hint of petrichor, but without any warmth whatsoever. The fragrance is intensely cool, blue-grey-green, you can smell a hint of mountain moss, the cold wind whipping over the fissured rock and carrying with it a trace of volcanic smoke, mingled with the incense of the sticks at a temple near the mountainside. Astringent, dominant, intimidating. It is one of the most natural and yet most intense fragrances I know. I see it on a self-assured gentleman or a determined lady, not really one for girlies.

The first thing I smell is cherries, but not fresh ones, rather those little red lollipops from my childhood. A mix of fruit and sweet gummy candy, maybe a hint of red wine, nestled on flowers. After a while, the sweet fruity scent fades and is replaced by a freshness reminiscent of an early autumn evening when you’d rather put on a jacket. After the bombastic entrance, it remains cool, floral with a memory of sweetness and a campfire in the distance. The sillage is medium.
I don't find the first impression -so- synthetic; overall, the impression during the second testing was very good, but unfortunately, it doesn't last long.
After just a few minutes, the scent noticeably changes its character and becomes cooler and at times almost aquatic. It still smells good, but no longer "special" and leans more towards floral than cherry. That's really a shame; it's already the second cherry scent this year that starts off well but doesn't hold...
By the way, I can already smell a hint of frangipani, but no vanilla.

I have tested both the variant for women and for men. While the women's version is very intrusive, almost aggressively heavy and lasts for 2-3 days, I prefer the men's variant much more.
It is a fresh, green-woody scent that does not "sting" in the nose with freshness, but rather caresses with a hint of warmth. Without the label, I wouldn't immediately classify it as a men's fragrance; there are definitely similar women's scents.
After about two hours, the deep green fades and the vetiver note becomes more pronounced, but it does not smell like a dupe of Invictus. Invictus is already slightly piercing and clearly a "typically masculine" scent, whereas Illusione simply smells "freshly showered" after a few hours, which I find very pleasant. It is not overpowering and does not cause headaches.

The scent is definitely also a good office fragrance for the confident woman over 30.

I have to be completely honest, with this hideously ugly bottle from a brand I don't know, I wouldn't have even looked at the perfume with my backside.

But then there was a very eye-catching flyer in a well-known women's magazine and the sample was so well-filled that it was enough for a daytime scent *dripping*.

I must say, I was very surprised. Visually, nothing appealed to me, neither the ugly bottle nor the colorful design nor the celebrity representative in a dress that could only have been chosen by someone who doesn't like her.

But the perfume smells good.

A sniff and it went *Bing!* in my head. I know this from somewhere?

I smell a flower meadow and the assortment of candies from the kiosk, this powdery-fizzy scent, although I wouldn't say that the perfume is powdery - thankfully it is not.

Basically, I think of blossoms and I immediately think: Yes, the name totally fits, I feel like I'm in a botanical garden.

The base note is a mild, sour lemon, as if it has just been cut, and a very strong green scent - probably the vetiver.

After a few minutes, I could clearly smell the mint - I find that great! Because it’s not toothpaste mint, but most likely curly mint - a mild-sweet mint aroma. There’s something about the scent that keeps making me dreamily sniff at my wrist.

Now I also remember what Florabotanica reminds me of - Boss! The new Boss bottled scent smells very similar - I recently bought it for my father and since he wears it occasionally, the scent also seemed so familiar to me (and some corner in Grugapark smells like that too...).
I assume this is due to the shared vetiver and citrus notes, although I think Boss bottled also has a slight mint note.

At first, the scent was strong, that's true, but only for 2-3 minutes. Mainly it is fresh and then becomes softer, but remains green.

It's very nice that here green and fresh floral notes combine without coming across as cold. I don't like cold perfumes, but this one is fundamentally somehow warm and I find it very pleasant.

If the scent is intended for a young audience, I don't think of teenage veggies. I think it’s more suitable for the age group 20-30 or even for very sporty 40+ power women. The scent is truly unusual and indeed eccentric men could wear it too, but as a woman, you need confidence for this scent - that's what the scent radiates and emphasizes. It's rather not for delicate fairies, they would appear overwhelmed by the scent.

Because it gives such a sporty impression, the scent is not on my wish list - however, if my partner were to wear it, I probably wouldn't let him/her out of bed for days...

I was very surprised by Dot, as I often do not like the fragrances from Marc Jacobs; they are too sweet or too bland for me.

Through a miniature, I had the opportunity to test it:
At first, it is really sweet, and you get the full fruit punch. For me, the scent primarily smells of watermelon, and this dull melon aroma remains until the end. The second strongest note is raspberry and other red berries, with raspberry coming to mind most due to its tartness. The third strongest note was somehow... earthy and vegetable-like; at first, I thought of radishes, but then I leaned more towards carrot, and I stick with that.

The carrot aroma fades after about a quarter of an hour and is replaced by a warm sweetness, which, unlike the initial sweetness, is quite pleasant, as vanilla seems to come through. If you know it, it also smells a bit like dragon fruit.

After its fresh start, Dot develops into a romantic fragrance that seems suitable for cozy fireplace evenings spent with a cup of hot cocoa and your beloved.
From initial tests, it seems that the scent is also quite well-received by men.

For me, it is a young and confident autumn-winter perfume, as it is too sweet for summer.
