If this is your jam, don't sleep on these vintage beauties. I found a bottle (parfums stern ref 2201) and there is something "American" about this 'chypre'... maybe it's the fruit notes up top? No syrupy sweetness to be found here. Everything well-blended...

I was afraid this would be too sweet for me, given the notes and reviews, but I needn't have worried: this is a lovely, well-blended floral, with some sweet elements (peach, honey) that add to its charm. No candy or bubblegum here, and it lands...
