Opus XIII - Silver Oud
Instinctive warning from my nose.
My brain received a huge alarm signal when I smelled this fragrance. I have never experienced anything like it before.

If you are a loner who prefers to be alone and stay that way, go for it, this fragrance is composed exactly for people like you.
This perfume doesn't smell, it stinks, and in a disgusting way. I have never detected such an intense character in a perfume.

Animal fragrances are known to have an aphrodisiac effect due to their beguiling scent, which means that they are supposed to stimulate the libido.
The only thing that was stimulated here was my gag reflex.
I had to really concentrate so that I didn't throw up in the store.

When you're interested in fragrances, you test a lot of perfumes, some you like, some you don't, some are outstanding but this one?
I'm not talking about the perfume not being "my fragrance", this perfume makes you ask yourself an all-important question, "whose fragrance could it ever be?"!
It is simply penetrating and pungent in the nose, a "luxury" slurry fragrance, in a really great bottle, for a pretty big pile of money.

Chapeau to Amouage, here, in the truest sense of the word, "shit" is turned into gold. For me, that's a masterstroke.
And this once again confirms that you can sell anything, really anything!

I had to think about it for a long time, a clear NO!
This fragrance is out of this world.
I smelled it for the first time on a warm day, surrounded by many other smells. Roasted almonds, pizza, chips, candy floss, smells from everywhere flooded my nose.
And then, suddenly, the scent of this perfume too, silence, as if time stood still.
Every fiber of my body wanted to smell this scent forever.
This fine leather fragrance, which starts off with a fresh, floral lightness, gradually becomes more and more intense, woody, leathery and I am talking about the finest leather in the world.
Elegant, absolutely unisex and unmistakable, unique and so special.
I bought it in a flash, there was no other way, everything in me wanted THIS fragrance. Since then, I can't imagine life without it, my love for this masterpiece is too great.
I wanted to find out and tested all of Marc Antoine Barrois' perfumes, but no chance, none of his other fragrances come close to Ganymede, not even close for me.

Elegant and timeless

After the Shalimar millesime Iris, which I already liked incredibly well, I also had to test you on my skin
Bought blind, with the wonderful "shalimar millesime Iris" always in the back of my mind, I was full of confidence that you were made for me.
In joyful anticipation of your arrival, I counted the hours until you would be with me.....
The day came sooner than expected, I carefully took you out of the box, what beautiful packaging you were wearing......
I sprayed it on straight away, I couldn't and didn't want to wait any longer. You enveloped my senses with a warm, sensual aura, filled the entire room, I was in love. The tonka bean (the star of the perfume), combined with the vanilla and bitter almond, gives you such a wonderful depth.
For me, you are a precious treasure, a more than successful, elegant and timeless fragrance composition that I cannot imagine my collection without. I smell you.... again and again and perceive a little bit of the classic shalimar DNA in you, subtle, just a hint and very pleasant.
But you two cannot be compared, you are unique.
But it's not your bottle, it's not just you wearing it, but that doesn't bother me at all.
In my opinion, you deserve more than just a plastic lid, that's the only thing I can criticize.
