When the panda puts on his bathing suit...
then he sprays himself with it beforehand:-)
Fraîcheur Végétale de Bambou was for a long time a favourite fragrance of my Holden, but she only ever wore it in the summer months. Because the little water is simply not a fragrance for autumn or winter. It is fresh, appears pleasantly grassy/herbal with a - in my opinion - light citrus note. That the fragrance is called bamboo has its legitimate reason. Whoever has ever stood in a cluster of bamboo trees will recognize this distinctive scent. And Yves Rocher has captured this scent very well. However, I cannot attest to the fact that it has a varied structure and a multi-faceted depth. It is quite "simply knitted" and puts its main focus on freshness. It is simply a good summer scent, which you can spray on in between. He can't and doesn't want to do more, but that's enough.

"Better than what you think."
Do you still remember that grammatically painful slogan from the mid-nineties, which Verona Pooth squeaked into the German living room every evening via advertising television? She even sold her own fashion line at the textile discounter, which has only 3 letters and starts and ends with a K at the front and back. And exactly this sentence comes to my mind when I think of this scent. I needed new sports socks these days and since I'm a penny pincher, I scurried into the mentioned store to get some cotton wraps for my dirty feet :-) What was/is in former times (or still is today) the Quengelware ( Ü-egg, sweets, chocolate bars etc.) at the cash registers, is at K
the perfume stand in direct proximity to the cash register... I can't help it, I have to stand there and smell.
The mind says: How is that supposed to smell if it only costs 2.99 €? Come on, save your money! You've got a closet full of perfumes, and you've got dupes Keep moving. There's nothing here for you But my nose says when I sniff No.1 of RêvArôme: "LICK ME FAT, WHAT IS THE SCOFF OF THE HAMMER!" Admittedly: When I'm at K
, I always go there to sniff the shelf with the scents. I've bought some dupes there as well. Just because I am a bargain hunter and a bad perfume junkie. During my conquests I often had some really nice scents with me, but other spontaneous purchases turned out to be a mistake and spent the rest of their lives as a scent cover-up in the guest toilet.
But this fragrance is guaranteed not to end! Fruity and orangey it starts, really pleasantly sweet without being over-sweet. The fruitiness is perfectly supported by a slightly herbaceous undertone (rosemary it should be). I find that you also smell a not exactly low vanilla undertone, which I also like very much. There is no mention of vanilla in the fragrance pyramid, but it doesn't matter: I can smell it.
Oh, yeah, almond's supposed to be in there too: I can confirm that, the almond part is actually quite prominent. The combination is quite successful and I really like it! Enlivened by this aroma and completely absorbed in my shopping frenzy, I later even buy No. 2 from RêvArôme. I will certainly write something about this, but later and of course separately from this comment.
But now back to RêvArôme No.1: After some time I sniff in the car on the way home, happy about the super bargain on my arm joint and I'm even more happy: The sweetness has lost some of its power and the scent is getting a bit more male-woody. Also this scent effect is really outstanding! Now 4 hours after the purchase, the scent is still very noticeable, but probably only because my endorphins have made their way through the skin to the scent and have made an olfactory union with No1 :-) Guerlain costs... Based on my actual purchase intention I am now literally "off the socks": What a bargain, what a hammer smell, considering what the original Guerlain cost! I am totally thrilled. Absolutely recommended to buy from me! And if you don't like it, then at least you have a great scent for a quiet little place.

Smells like Daddy!
This fragrance has a special effect on me, as this is one of the fragrances my late father liked to wear. With him L'instant always smelled very fresh and still appeared noble and mature and you always smelled a hint of oriental with it, that's probably due to the patchouli and sandalwood. He really never overdid it with the number of sprayers, but he was good smelling from far away. As I said, I find the fragrance mixture really great and varied and has a correspondingly varied depth. I can imagine this scent very well as an appetizing background to "sit on the terrace in the evening sun" but also at a business dinner or at an official event. As far as the shelf life is concerned, I can only say that on various day trips with my father, I could smell him in the morning and still perceive this freshness late in the afternoon. So really a very good durability! Maybe because of the biographical connection to this fragrance I am a little less critical or nostalgic, but no matter: I can
L'instant recommend only!

Miami Vice in a bottle
If denim muscle is one thing, then FRESH is another. The freshness appears directly with the first spraying. Oh, what do you mean, "pop out"? The mint is popping full force on your sniffing receptors. Mint and lemon play races in the olfactory bulb and finally make themselves comfortable on the synapses. If the scent had to be filmed, it would look like this: Sonny" Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs chase their speedboat across the water and follow the bad guys of the drug cartel in good style (sunglasses, cardigan, bare feet in their slippers). The sun burns, the water splashes high and the wind blows through the voluminous hair. More 80's simply isn't possible and that's why I love the scent: Mint is clearly in front, patchouli comes out well and then there's the distinctive scent of moss. For "nostalgics" like me, denim is a hit.

Elegant - a good twin!
I'm a big fan of La Rive Dupes. They usually manage very well with twin making - my compliments on that! And here with the Elegant, they really did a good job with La Rive - I still have the Intenso in my cupboard as a sample and when you compare it directly you realize that it's damn close to the original.
Lavender, wood, tobacco perfectly coordinated - in other words, everything that makes the REAL MAN happy :-)
So bargain hunters and scented junkies beware: Buy, buy, buy, buy, buy!
Elegant can still be found (or at least every now and then) in the usual drugstore chains.
