White Hyacinth?
When I bought this fragrance years ago, I always feverishly thought about which spring flower it reminded me of. I didn't think of hyacinth back then (and Google didn't exist at that time, at least I didn't know it). Still: none of my other fragrances with hyacinth smells like this one, a bit piercing perhaps at first, but definitely floral. O.k., thanks to Parfumo, I also came across Shiseido Energizing Fragrance, which is indeed very similar, but I don't like the bottle nearly as much. This white chalice just fits perfectly with the scent and the name. It's a shame it was taken off the market!

Rose Blossom Dream
With this fragrance, I always think of those lush pink-flowering trees and shrubs - almond trees, Japanese cherry blossoms, which now show their splendor at the end of April/beginning of May. In my garden, there is a wine-red ornamental apple tree. Miracle doesn’t just smell of flowers; I also detect something zesty, probably the lychee. Unfortunately, my bottle is not in the best condition anymore (but I still like to use it at home). No wonder, I bought it in May 2001, during a difficult phase when I had to reorient myself professionally. I should have been saving back then, but I just had to have this one bottle! So to speak, as a consolation! Of course, this fragrance also reminds me of that challenging time, which fortunately lasted only a very short while, but also how this beautiful scent distracted me a bit back then.

Easter in a Bottle
No scent do I associate with Easter as much as this one! Beds full of daffodils and grape hyacinths, the first warm sunny spring days... but I always think of an incomparable Easter meal with friends, back in the mid-90s, one of the first occasions when I wore the fragrance. There were 7 or 8 courses to which we were invited. When I asked, "Can I help with anything?" I was first tasked with peeling 1.5 kg of asparagus - with a knife, because unfortunately there was no peeler in the host's student flat... Nevertheless, it was a wonderful meal! The friends from back then are now scattered to the winds, but my old bottle of Narcisse still smells just like it did back then; at least I can't detect any off notes. I am continually amazed at how long some fragrances last! The scent is indeed heavy; after spraying it, it almost comes off as piercing, but then it becomes wonderfully floral, fruity (apricot?), with a fresh note, and later the vanilla emerges. Definitely not a run-of-the-mill fragrance. If I could only keep 10 of my many perfumes - Narcisse would surely be one of them!

Ancient but still fine!
This is my very first comment in this forum!
I received Magnolia from my best friend in the late 80s; there was some note in it that bothered her. After all these years, it still smells good! I always like to take the bottle in hand at the beginning of May when everything around me is blooming, the fruit trees (in Franconia, we are a bit later), the tulips, the ornamental apples. Ok, the magnolias are indeed already faded by then. For me, the perfume is floral and elegant, something for the evening, or when you wear a floral, pastel-colored dress during the day. Not for sporty ladies. Unfortunately, I can't pick out individual fragrance notes here; my nose is not the best. I hope the bottle lasts a long time!
