Deserves more attention!
The fragrance "The Scent Elixir for Her | Hugo Boss" is not a new invention, but I find it beautiful. The opening is slightly peppery and sweet. It has something warm, and initially a slight "Hypnotic Poison (Eau de Toilette) | Dior" vibe.
The belladonna is not comparable to a real cherry note such as in "La Petite Robe Noire (2012) (Eau de Parfum) | Guerlain". A cherry note is definitely perceptible, but rather fruity-synthetic.
It becomes warmer as it progresses, but remains linear. I think it is well suited for fall/winter. "The Scent Elixir for Her | Hugo Boss" was released at the beginning of 2024, but from a marketing perspective, it would have been better if it had come out in the fall.
In my opinion, it's an evening/going-out fragrance that is very pleasing and feminine.
The longevity is bomb, the sillage is also quite good. The deep red bottle is simple with a certain elegance. Although "The Scent Elixir for Her | Hugo Boss" has a higher price tag, I think the price/quality ratio is good.

This fragrance divides opinion!

I don't smell the (burnt) gum note. Similar to "Baccarat Rouge 540 (Eau de Parfum) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian": some people smell dentist's surgery, but I don't. My daughter tested the "5 - Floral, Amber, Sensual Musk | Rosendo Mateu - Olfactive Expressions" and said she smelled some burnt stuff. Eww. I, on the other hand, smelled pleasant saffron in its most beautiful form.

"5 - Floral, Amber, Sensual Musk | Rosendo Mateu - Olfactive Expressions" opens floral, as in the order of the name, but spiced in combination with the saffron. And I think it is precisely this combination that makes the fragrance unwearable for many, because for some this combination is perceived as burnt rubbery.
I smell a great interplay of top notes, which I perceive as warm and ambery.
The best part comes in the drydown: it becomes sooo beautifully vanilla-like, interwoven with tonka, amber and musk. And this arrangement is sensual, unique, extremely erotic and sophisticated. Even after hours, I still notice it, but in an unobtrusive, subtle way.
I also don't think it has mega projection. Dosed sparingly, it is even wearable every day in my opinion (fall/winter).

No cuddling*x maybe a romantic tantric massage
I was expecting a vanilla scent with a certain kick and I hardly got any cuddles. The name shouldn't be confusing, because the fragrance doesn't have much to do with s*x. Perhaps with a lot of imagination you can detect a hint of animalism. "Vanilla Sex | Tom Ford" starts with vanilla and ends with it. Ergo, it is a linear fragrance that hardly undergoes any changes.
The combination of vanilla, bitter almond and tonka and a small dash of floral makes the fragrance elegant, feminine, embracing and romantic. The vanilla is not bakery vanilla, no cookie dough, no vanilla peaks appear as in "Vanille West Indies | Ligne St Barth". Although it is gourmand, this vanilla is exquisite. It is a beautiful vanilla fragrance with a woody base, beautifully blended with bitter almond and tonka. Certainly well suited for romantic intimate moments, for gentle trantra massage or similar practices.
You can also wear the fragrance every day, in the office without hesitation, because it does not have a high sillage and because it would not stimulate anyone's head cinema.

The longevity is poor. After 4-5 hours, it becomes skin-deep and doesn't really shine during those hours. The fragrance doesn't take your breath away, but the price does.
For this fragrance, which is actually beautiful, sensual and elegant, but lacks the necessary spice, you pay over €300 for 50ml. There are other fragrances in this category that perform much better and cost much less.
But everyone should decide for themselves. I hope this review was helpful. Best regards

"My Sultan, if you could see Leila from my eyes...!"
This beautiful fragrance made me think of Leila. Madschnun's Leila. The Leila for whom Madschnun was declared love-crazy. They are the most famous lovers in the Orient and come from two hostile tribes.
Madschnun walked through mountains for his love to reach the girl he loved. One day, the Sultan calls Madschnun to him, he is so curious about Leila and says: "I want to see Leila, for whom you have gone mad out of love. She must be exceptionally beautiful."
The news spreads throughout the country and finally Leila goes to the Sultan. Madschnun is also in the same room. When Leila enters, the Sultan is sobered by the sight of her. So the Sultan turns his gaze to Madschnun and asks: "Is this THE Leila whose love made you cross mountains?" Madschnun replies: "My Sultan, if only you could see Leila from my eyes...!"

For him, Leila was like a refreshing oasis with tasty dates on beautiful palm trees. A giver of life in the middle of a desert. "Grace is great, diversity is infinite", as Goethe put it. Only infinitely loving eyes can recognize this beauty.
Just like Madschnun.

"Une Nuit à Oman - Jardins de Misfah | Une Nuit Nomade" exudes the scent of sweet, fruity, delicious dates blended with a light cardamom spice. This delicious note is accompanied by fragrant roses, which gives the fragrance a floral note and makes it pleasantly creamy.

In the drydown, it becomes almondy-warm, close to the skin, delicious, only perceptible in intimate moments. "Une Nuit à Oman - Jardins de Misfah | Une Nuit Nomade" is not loud and intrusive, but it is palpable for special people. Just like Leila.
A fragrance like an oriental fairy tale.
H: a few hours
S: very good for the first two hours. Then it becomes softer.
I hope this review was helpful.

The scent awakens the protective instinct in him!
Thanks to a nice perfumist, I received a bottling. First tested on test strips, I get the bergamot in the opening, i.e. a light citrus paired with cinnamon and accompanied by a pleasant sweetness. A creaminess with woody notes stands out.
Sprayed onto the skin, the cinnamony bergamot unfolds much deeper and creamier.
"Althaïr | Parfums de Marly" shows density in the first few minutes without being heavy.
In the drydown, it becomes more gourmand due to the vanilla and praline. It reminds me a little of "Ajwad / اجواد | Lattafa / لطافة" where the Ajwad is more piercing. The "Althaïr | Parfums de Marly", on the other hand, is warmer, more pleasant to wear, nothing is jarring or stands out unpleasantly. The fragrance is not beastly, it is a beautiful, cozy, stylish fragrance that is best worn on dates or for intimate moments. In my opinion, it is not a fragrance for going out. The fragrance experience remains linear for the next few hours: gourmand-sweet with a woody base that supports the fragrance with a cozy harmony, which makes it really very tangible, confidence-inspiring and in a way attractive.
The man who wears this fragrance on a date conveys a sense of security coupled with a protective instinct, which would go down very well with her.

On the test strip, I would have categorized it as more masculine with a feminine touch, but on my skin I would classify it as unisex to masculine.
The longevity is okay, lasts about 6-7 hours and the projection doesn't knock you out.
Conclusion: a successful, higher-priced fragrance. The wearer of this fragrance exudes confidence, security, harmony, balance and style without being loud. The fragrance has a noble restraint. It could be the scent of Edward from "Pretty Woman" (played by Richard Gere), indeed "Althaïr | Parfums de Marly" suits him very well.
I hope the review was helpful! best regards
