Fresh Chai?
Sometimes I am disappointed and sometimes surprised by the Zadig & Voltaire fragrances. The men's fragrances are a bit clichéd, but I don't find this scent bad at all. Please be patient, as the interesting nuances only unfold after 15 minutes. You can definitely smell the cardamom. So, if you are looking for a perfume that has a similar DNA (like Gris Charnel or similar), you are in the right place. Of course, this specimen smells much fresher, but with the woody notes and cardamom, it's essentially the fresh chai. A great perfume for entering the world of oriental fragrances, especially for those who have only worn citrus scents so far.

Ouch Synthetic
I don't know why everyone loves this scent so much, but I hate this perfume. I love vanilla, but if it's vanilla, then please not so synthetic. The fragrance pyramid looks great, so off to Douglas when it was released and I sniffed it, and I’ve smelled it again and again up to today. But I found it really synthetic, sugary, and cheap. The combination of vanilla and cocoa is what stands out in this perfume. If the stars are vanilla and cocoa, then they are definitely Z-list celebrities because these fragrance components smell cheaper than anything else. I also don't pick up any nice fruity component, maybe E-shisha smoke, which is why it scratches so much in the nose. So unfortunately, the fruits can't redeem what this vanilla-cocoa scent does. And where is the musk? I love White Musk together with vanilla, it's great, but nothing there... the two main actors have probably choked all the other fragrance notes. Maybe it's a teen scent if you really want to endure it.

Incense Sticks Meets Freshly Washed Laundry
Great scent even though I find that Zadig & Voltaire perfumes are similar. I think this fragrance smells fresh and like incense sticks. I love the scent because it reminds me of my Indian linen cloths. It smells like sun-dried flowers in a coastal town in India. The air is filled with freshly washed laundry drying on the terrace. It feels like a vacation. Somehow, I personally also detect magnolia.

Transformable Nut
Love at first spray. I have to say, this perfume is a scent that adapts to the seasons. Worn first at the Christmas market, I am enveloped by roasted almond, soaked in orange rose water. Really cozy and pleasant, but not too sweet. In spring, I was almost sad because I thought I couldn't wear such a scent when it gets warmer. But I was wrong. The nut can be different too. In spring, the fragrance feels completely different. Like those lipsticks that change color on the skin depending on the pH level. For me, it then somehow smells like a businesswoman, serious, a bit powdery and elegant. The longevity isn't great. She is here for a good time not a long time.
