I've only ever had the fragrance as a deodorant, but I haven't bought any other deodorant as often as this one.
Sometimes I'm not in the mood for perfume, then it's enough to take a few swipes with Captain, because the fragrance doesn't change noticeably and lasts a very long time by deodorant standards.

When I do use a different deodorant from time to time, I am always amazed at how fresh, spicy and clean the deodorant smells and then I don't want to wear anything else for weeks.

A fragrance to hold on to (HOLD FAST), probably the only association I can make here with the sea and sailors, I still have a few sticks in reserve in the cupboard. I'll keep an eye out for the aftershave despite my beard.

I can't understand why this should be a women's fragrance, in my opinion unisex.
At the beginning a very refreshing, clean lemon scent that I like. My girlfriend says it smells like toilet stone, which I can understand, but unlike her in a positive way.

After a few hours, however, a bitter synthetic scent takes over, which I can't get used to despite the nice first scent and therefore have to wash my clothes the next day.
So far, this is the first fragrance that has disappointed me in retrospect. I am therefore considering giving the fragrance away.

i had been using Proraso's Beardbalms for years and at some point found out that there is also a cologne.
Unlike the Wood and Spice, the scent is very close to the Beardbalm and smells tangy and refreshing like sour lemon, slowed down by something soft that reminds me of cream or milk.

I use the Azure Lime on its own, but I also like to mix it with Wood and Spice, also from Proraso. 3 parts Wood and Spice, 7 parts Azure Lime in a travel atomizer.
