Warm Late Summer Days on a Golden Meadow
Flora is, for me, a perfect perfume for mild summer evenings. If a sunset on a hot late summer day had a scent, it would definitely be Flora. Warm and sensual are the two adjectives that come to mind first when I spray Flora.
At first, the scent is very intense and too sweet. Fortunately, this sweetness dissipates quickly and transforms into a creamy, warm, floral fragrance. When I wear Flora, I often get told that I smell very good, which unfortunately is not the case with other fragrances I have, as they are not as long-lasting. Flora remains perceptible for 12 hours without any problems. Of course, towards the end, it becomes just a very close-to-skin scent. Only on clothing does the fragrance actually last until the next wash. Due to its long-lasting nature and the intense, yet not overpowering scent, Flora is truly perfect for going out in the summer.
Since the eye always "smells along," I want to mention the bottle, which really looks extremely decorative on the shelf.

Keylime Pie to Spray
Light Blue is a wonderful fragrance. While I can't really pick out the scent pyramid, I inevitably think of Keylime Pie, which I have eaten quite a bit in the USA. For this reason, the fragrance reminds me of the summery Southern states, which may also be because I bought it on a cruise from Miami to the Bahamas. It simply means summer, vacation, and Southern Hospitality to me.
On my skin, it lasts about 8 hours, which I find very good. It is also perceivable by others during the entire time.
Although I love the scent so much, I can't spray it on my skin because I have an allergic reaction to it. You only realize that after you've bought a 100ml bottle. Sometimes I just spray it on my clothes and enjoy the scent that way. Of course, it can't develop on the skin then, but I prefer that to itchy skin.
Light Blue, you would be among my top favorites, but unfortunately, my skin is ruining it for me. :(

Pleasant Unobtrusive Everyday Perfume
When I discovered this fragrance in the drugstore in 2011, I was immediately thrilled and have already repurchased it 4 times. The price is really unbeatable, in my opinion. Of course, the longevity is somewhat limited, but that doesn't bother me much, as I often get headaches from overly intense scents. I'd rather spray it on more often than set off a real bomb with a sprayer and have a headache for hours.
But now to the important part: The scent itself. I perceive it as initially sweet, slightly fruity, but the sweetness definitely dominates. Something seems to tame this sweetness, perhaps the black currant? The sweetness fades (thankfully) quite quickly and becomes creamier. I actually perceive the apricot and pear. However, more as a kind of creamy mousse rather than fresh fruit. The slightly powdery and creamy scent is what you notice last before the fragrance essentially disappears completely. The amber notes are definitely noticeable, perhaps slightly vanillic and still a bit bitter - probably due to the sandalwood. I actually thought sandalwood would be my absolute nemesis in perfumes, as I often get headaches from scents that contain sandalwood. Either it's due to something else or the specific combination or amount. I will probably never find out.
The fact is: I really like Mexx Black Woman and can see myself wearing it well in everyday life. Recently, however, I've noticed that I don't like wearing it as much in warm weather. Maybe because the heat intensifies the sandalwood?! For me, it remains a scent for transitional seasons. I find it perfect in spring and autumn! It is definitely worth tossing it into the basket on your next shopping trip and bringing it home.
