I buy Bulgarian rose absolute (in alcohol dilution, as it remains stable for longer) from Farfalla every now and then. I have also tried Turkish rose absolute (from Primavera). The Bulgarian one is a little sweeter and smells more like honey.
I can definitely recognize real rose absolute immediately after spraying on "Vedette". There is a good amount of it in there. There is also a kind of dark pepper in the air. (it's allspice, in the list of top notes, bay allspice has somehow become bay rum)
The allspice gives the opening some power and edge, but the intoxicating roses quickly gain the upper hand again (after about an hour I no longer smell any allspice).
After about 2 hours, the fragrance becomes somewhat cooler, more watery, fresher, cleaner, and the absolute runs out of steam and the synthetic peony takes over. But it does not become soapy.
I can't find anything "grubby" in it at any time.
I can't smell any of the specified base notes, the roses just gradually fade. Therefore, it is not a heavy fragrance, if you prefer to have roses around you all day (but it doesn't last that long), you can wear it without hesitation even in everyday life.

I had discovered it at shin height at Müller. He is still available there, by the way. Thought me, maybe inspired by Miss Dior, because the Flacon looks a little like that. Only sprayed on the test strip, since no more body parts free, after all, you come first past all brand fragrances and only in the end to the cheap.
He had so nothing cheap about it, somehow fine, tingling and even slightly green amber powder there. For about 12 € simply times taken, although heavy clunky flacons do not meet my taste, even if Svarovski crystals are stuck on it...
At home then extensively tested on the skin, briefly been disappointed: This is yes a Si copy. With Si I could never do anything, too much centered balanced, just do not exaggerate anything, one has thought there probably.
This perfume here, however, is a new interpretation of the theme: the fruit top note is much clearer, tangy, sweet and sour currant, which remains in the course of the fragrance also almost to the end, only slowly weakening. Then the rose in the heart is very beautiful and also has a high-quality effect on me - no absolute, but sweet and quite nature-identical it lovingly opens its arms for me. The best part of the blend doesn't wait either, because, unlike Si, a strong sweet vanilla comes in quite early, which also lasts a long time on the skin, so 8h plus. Sure this vanilla is not the very highest quality, but pleasantly powdery-flattering it provides well-being.
For me, this was a fragrance for home, after work, to relieve stress and build security, a wonderful couch or fall asleep fragrance. Not necessarily sexy, not elegant, but flattering feminine and cuddly, with something stimulating beginning. Throughout the summer I was also generally very fixated on fruity scents, since that was a find that hit the mark exactly.
Currently, I reach again to other fragrances, but fruit time comes guaranteed again, I have there always so phases ...

Penetrating citrus and herbal-green freshness at the beginning, good idea with the myrtle, it is somewhat similar to eucalyptus and lets you breathe well in the stressful workday. Then, for further relaxation, a creamy dessert is served with it. The sweetness remains rather background, elegant and light.
Unfortunately, the base then acts on me somehow oldschool, or I associate older gentlemen. Perhaps because I have already perceived this perfume on such? With such associations, you never know exactly where they come from...maybe the citrus-cedar mixture is also such a classic aftershave thing. Tested it on my own wrist and on paper. Conclusion: less gourmand scent and a bit more classic than I thought.

The iris flower, floral-pudgy-leathery-smoky, is the star here, and already i.d. top note smellable. All other notes are the robe, which makes them seem feminine sweet and pleasing, despite their edges. On the skin, the sweet soft vanilla also comes out briskly. I can't even recognize the floral absolues as jasmine or orange blossom at first, as they are overlaid by sweet raspberry and the strong iris. In the hair, however, jasmine does come out well, adds a bit of sultriness on top. I like the base here more than the original, I just like vanilla. Vanilla, iris and raspberry are the strongest notes for me, but somehow the typical base of the original is also stirred in. I see a table set in late summer in the garden in front of me, there is a sweet dessert and lots of dried flowers as decoration. This perfume strikes almost the same note in my collection as Y.R.'s Autour de Minuit, but is less mysterious, more intense. Blackcurrant or blackberry are meanwhile preferable to me as fruit notes in perfumes, the raspberry here is merely ok for me, as it seems too childish. Therefore, not a full score, but still a nice floral gourmand indulgence.

Today I sniffed my way through the Gucci Blooms and this one surprised among the others by its comparatively subtle restraint. I had to spray again, closer with the nose, but what a heavenly scent! Planty green but not as cool as Acqua di Fiori. Floral, yet layered (the Ambrosia, on the other hand, smells exclusively of tuberose absolute to me). Lush, somewhat sultry, with a slight nourishing sweetness (like nectar, or plants you can eat) . Nevertheless, one is not slain, and also no one around you.
A mood-lifting, invigorating feel-good fragrance, sensual, without being "perfumy".
