Comeback with Envy
Thanks to the many great comments here, Envy has been positively brought back to my memory.
I owned this wonderful fragrance in the late 90s along with many other perfumes like Loulou, Joop Femme, Escada by Escada, Jádore, Poison, and also Sun was very present.
Admittedly, I can't imagine any of these scents in my collection today, and that's why I hesitated a bit about whether I would still like Envy today? because my fragrance preferences have changed significantly over time. But Envy holds special value for me, as it was my first Mother's Day gift from my now 16-year-old daughter. We mothers know what a sensitive time we go through at first... first Christmas, first Easter, and also the first Mother's Day, sigh, it's been a long time! Sorry, I'm digressing, now to the scent:
Bold, ordered, and arrived yesterday! (Allegedly the first women's fragrance from Gucci). Envy is a green floral scent, very sensual and feminine with a touch of freshness and by no means sweet. Although it is categorized here more as a spring-summer fragrance, I find it very suitable for a rainy day like today, enveloped with the first signs of spring;) There’s also nothing to complain about in terms of longevity, it lasts for hours on me.
The top notes are said to include bergamot, pineapple, as well as freesia and peach, which my nose cannot confirm. The lily of the valley dominates from beginning to end, beautifully merging in the base with moss and woody notes.
As Joe already mentioned, it also reminds me a bit of Diorissimo.
In summary: Envy, I still like you, and I am glad to have you back in my possession!

HE NEEDS HIS TIME
Thanks to a sample from Jifat, I was able to test my first Lorenzo.
Well, at first the disappointment was great; even after about 10 minutes, I was almost on my way to the sink. The citrus note was very dominant-where was this supposed creamy scent like Nivea?? But somehow I managed to get through this unpleasant phase (thankfully), and gradually it developed into this very flattering creamy fragrance. No, I wouldn't want to compare it to Nivea, as it is too refined for that.
Yes, I gave it time, but as a thank you, it quickly disappeared from me again-what a shame.

Kneipp Kur pur
I have read quite a bit here, a lot of positive things, fact -> became curious -> ordered a sample -> tested it -> result: my still somewhat stuffy nose is clear, well, and how did I come to Kneipp cold bath? I filled a tub for my son after he came home completely soaked from football practice. A splash of Kneipp in it and off we go. Then my son said: "Mom, it smells just like you!" okay thanks, I guess that's it then. But luckily I still have a few other samples from Lalique, maybe I'll develop some sympathy after all... for another Lalique scent, I mean ;)

a touch of luxury
Right off the bat, it's my favorite scent. I discovered it two years ago at the "turquoise" store, and it quickly became clear to me that I had to have it, and before I knew it, it was already in my shopping bag. For me, it is an extravagant and not an everyday fragrance, nothing comparable from the drugstore chains, just a touch of luxury and for the self-confident woman. I particularly perceive the cedar, and thankfully, there is nothing at all from lily of the valley. The vanilla also remains subtly in the background. I love this slightly sweet yet spicy scent that accompanies me all day long. We're already at the longevity; I unfortunately cannot agree with the previous comments, it has been "loyal" to me for many hours. The sillage has also been confirmed to me multiple times.
"mhh you smell good today" and that even though I've been wearing it for hours, is just one of many positive remarks about this fragrance. I must also add that I spray it on my clothes, and on a scarf I wore recently, the scent even lingered for a week. ZEN you are loyal to me and I will remain so .....
