Soft Tobacco
Sunshine by Amouage surprised me more than I expected. Most likely because I found the bottle and the name so appealing that I didn't really delve into the perfume itself. I've learned not to buy a niche fragrance blindly, so I first got a sample. Since it was winter at the time and I thought Sunshine and winter didn't go together (:D), I waited until today to wear it. However, I know that I was already disappointed when sniffing the sample. Therefore, I didn't expect too much.

Upon the first spray, I smelled something that was absolutely indefinable to me at that moment. Somehow old and a bit musty. To be honest, I thought at that time it was an "accident" and would settle down soon. Still, I was curious about what it was, so I googled the fragrance to see (for the first time) the fragrance pyramid. I read through the notes, and it was like scales falling from my eyes: tobacco. Suddenly, the scent made sense and the sharp smell calmed down. Along with the tobacco, I detected undefinable pure flowers, and it took on a creamy and light quality. For me, after about 10 minutes, the scent smells of tobacco and also a bit leathery, with the flowers only faintly detectable. If you want and expect that, it's a great and smooth fragrance. Still, with the name and the bottle, I expected something entirely different. Even now, when I find the scent quite pleasant, I can't reconcile the thought of reaching for a yellow bottle and getting tobacco/leather.
Still, it's not a bad fragrance; you just have to know what you're getting and perhaps read the reviews differently than I did.

Sweet Flowers
The scent is a typical Escada fragrance, sweet and fruity. However, it is a bit warmer, more vanilla-like, and sweeter. In my opinion, it doesn't really match the name and the scent description. Nevertheless, it is a lovely sweet and fruity fragrance. The price is also great, and the bottle is super cute.

Outside hm, inside mhhh
My boyfriend has been wearing this scent for some time now, and it is perfect for all uncomplicated daytime activities. He has received several compliments on the fragrance, mostly from me of course :D
I love this scent. How should I best describe it? The fragrance is fresh and light, it smells like a nice, high-quality, and fresh men's shower gel. It is not too overpowering, not too consuming, and above all, it does not smell like it’s seeking attention. I don’t know if you know what I mean, but when I smell Acqua di Gio, I immediately think of an unpleasant personality that is somewhat selfish and likes to be the center of attention.
And this is love, is the opposite for me.
It develops from the very fresh opening into something a bit woodier, still fresh and still masculine.
For me, the scent never smells musty or unpleasant at any point. It is simply composed, but that means you are not surprised by any strange scent. It smells fresh, masculine, and slightly woody from start to finish.
The sillage is not overwhelming, which I personally find good. You can smell the fragrance when you are close to the person and hug them, but it doesn’t suffocate the whole room.
The longevity is outstanding for the price range; I can honestly still smell the scent on my skin the next day. It definitely lasts 10 hours +.
All in all, an incredible fresh and masculine fragrance. The price is great, making it a definite candidate for a blind buy for me.
The only negative for me is the bottle, which I find ugly and cheap, but what can you do? You smell the fragrance all day, and you only see the bottle for 30 seconds.

Outside Royal, inside Schal
I bought the fragrance for my boyfriend, and I did so blind, which I probably shouldn't have. I find the scent itself very nice; it smells at first whiff like saffron or, for me, simply something spicy, dark, and slightly musty. The fragrance is very masculine, oriental, spicy, and somewhat leathery. You can't compare this scent to Oud wood, but as a distinction, Oud wood is much woodier and a bit fresher. Oud royal is very dry and somehow smells heavy, although, and here comes the biggest downside: this fragrance has a worse sillage and longevity than some €40 citrus scents. At a distance, you can perceive the scent at most for half an hour; after that, I can only smell it if I really sniff my skin. The longevity on the skin is also rather below average, about 5 hours. So my conclusion: the scent is beautifully crafted, develops on the skin warm, spicy, and very masculine. However, the longevity is simply subpar for a fragrance in this price range. Thus, for me, the only thing that makes this scent special and high-quality is the beautiful bottle.
