One of these days I will be ready for a big flask of N°19 and I will be happy for it.

Sweetgrass, I have the EDP as well. I'm told it's rosier and less sharp than the EDT but I've never actually compared the two.
Overall, though, I don't perceive No.19 to be the way many people describe it (e.g. cold, austere, sharply green, grassy and so on. Compared to some of the bitter, green, galbanum-heavy chypres I enjoy, No. 19 feels rather smooth, iris-y and almost waxy at times. All relative, I suppose.

Nah, I actually like the edp a whole lot more than the edt (I had a mini which I swapped away), which reminds me of insect repellent and little more. The edp feels a lot more nuanced and mature, but I still feel like there are too many different kinds of bitter accords vying for attention - the greenness, the musk, the leather - that I could enjoy it without reservation. Not gonna swap away the edp mini though :)

Nice, i love green scents. I also like the leather (in one of those formulations). Maybe you could start with the weakest version, with a small number of sprays? that's what I sometimes do.
