Head Over Heels!
What a wonderful and extremely multifaceted fragrance!
The opening: pure pear!

The reason I fell so deeply in love with this scent is that it somehow (very subtly) reminds me of New West for her by Aramis.
Don't get me wrong: There is no substitute for New West!
I loved it so much and searched for a replacement for years. But nothing gave me even a hint of that feeling.
Until Kingdom came!

As I said, it is completely different. But it also carries this "crisp" quality for me. (With New West, it was a cucumber-like melon. Here, it's a cucumber-like pear. Although I also had some pear vibes with New West).
It also has a bit of that woody, slightly aquatic quality for me. Everything is delicate in the background.
It doesn't come close to the freshness of New West, as it becomes sweeter and sweeter over time.
But this delicate and brief vibe makes me really happy!
I just want to bite into it.
It definitely has an interesting, layered development. Towards the dry down, it becomes vanilla-sweet.
It's fascinating how differently fragrances affect us!
The longevity is also really good.
Even though Lattafa is churning out one fragrance after another, there are definitely some mega hits among them.

All Because of You!
For years, I have used Parfumo for research and could always rely on the opinions of the majority.
And then came Grl Pwr.
I tested it just for fun. What sugary-fruity notes could be in there?
One might suspect a girly scent in this (unfortunately completely unsuitable bottle for the fragrance).
But no, but wow!! What a surprise! I've never encountered anything like this before. Different, incomparable, and it became love!!
And then here on Parfumo: why are you rated so poorly here??
I have to change that! I finally need to register. Just because of you!! By now, summer is already over and
during this time, I actually emptied two small bottles. A rare addictive factor has set in.
But now I'm doing it: I'm registering and writing my first review: just for you! Because you deserve more attention!
(Already sounds like a love letter).
I'm glad that there are now positive opinions about you!

The scent: for me, incomparable and hard to describe. But it’s not that floral at all; it could almost be unisex.
In short: to me, it simply smells like sour lemon lemonade with a sweet woodiness that reminds me of BR540. Fascinating blend.
It is subtly bitter, which balances the sweetness well.
Definitely a freshie for the young-at-heart, older generation.
It is special and surely not everyone will like it. (But that's also a reason why I like it so much).
I can't compare it to Light Blue at all. Both are citrusy-woody, but on a completely different level.
The longevity is really surprisingly good for a citrusy freshie.

I hope it finds more followers. I've already got 4 bottles on backup because I'm afraid it will be discontinued.... That must be love!!
