... that's how I would describe the fragrance to my colleagues. Which means nothing other than, Extrême is unequal to Extreme. But I'll get to that in a moment.

A few years ago, I loved wearing the regular Black Opium in the dead of winter. I never liked the coffee note to begin with, but my nose got used to it very quickly. At that point, I vowed to only wear that scent. :D Well, I knew until then also not really much more fragrances.

Anyway, I had me some time ago a filling of Black Opium EdP procured, and played for months to get me the fragrance again. Whereby it would be only for the memory.
When I saw that Black Opium Eau de Parfum Extrême comes out, I was determined, it gernau will be the right version for me. Until just now, I also thought it would be called "Black Opium Extrême - Eau de Parfum" and just not "Black Opium - Eau de Parfum Extrême)". So my expectations were very Extrême, no matter where the Extrême would have stood.

I explain first my first impression and then the more detailed test and then again a short version.

I got the fragrance as a gift. Full of curiosity, I ran first in a perfumery and have me "Black Opium - Eau de Parfum" sprayed on the right hand. Quickly out, quickly open the packaging and quickly "Black Opium - Eau de Parfum Extrême" on my left hand. I sniffed my hands in turn. On the left, I smell bitter chocolate and espresso, just like Yanlizkalp79 wrote in her statement. On the right, clearly Black Opium. Outside, in direct comparison, "Black Opium - Eau de Parfum" smelled sweeter and also fruity, just brighter (I go now deliberately not so strong on the normal fragrance).
To me it seemed as if the Extreme variant was actually darker and more adult.
Just FYI, I think I have scent-swallowing skin. Because after 2 hours I perceived the Extreme hardly nich. Very slightly, the skin still smelled like warm vanilla. The right hand with the normal variant had been in all their fragrances still present there.

Well my enthusiasm was curbed and my imagination not fulfilled. Well, maybe I have to deal a little more with the fragrance.

No sooner said than done, now I'm sitting here. Left of me "Black Opium - Eau de Parfum Extreme" and right of me "Black Opium - Eau de Parfum". Left and right test strips. Laptop on. 3x sprayed on the test strips and 3x on my hand. Same game as before or still: left "Extreme", right "Normal". To both I make me on Parfumo the fragrance pyramid on. Only now I see that it is only called "Eau de Parfum Extreme". And only now I see the citrus notes in the fragrance. I didn't notice the citrus notes at all. Now that I read it and the scent has faded a bit, I do notice them. More on the test strip than on my hand. But that's not worth talking about.
Meanwhile, my nose is probably fragrance dust. I smell hardly a difference between the two scents. I get another nose in the game, the person also hardly differences was, except " right (Normal) smells sweeter than left (Extreme), but only minimally". The point for the durability and sillage gets the normal Black Opium.

I will tomorrow morning, with a fresh nose, sniff the test strips again and then probably give an update here.


Conclusion:
So inconspicuous, the word was added to the Eau de Parfum, just as inconspicuous one perceives the changes to the fragrance. I think the Extreme fragrance gets its tart fragrance note by the cocoa and that the coffee has changed the level. But for me it is only perceptible in direct comparison. The fragrance remains defzedem a sweet fragrance. The word Extreme raises the expectations high. But Extreme is not so Extreme. No one would notice these minimal changes. At the most, they wouldn't notice it at all, because of the poorer durability. How bad the durability really is, I must test again more exactly. Does the fragrance have to be in the collection if "Black Opium - Eau de Parfum" already has a place? - Definitely not. Very fine noses, can learn to love the perhaps, if always a Black Opium was desired.
My olfactory bulb, gets used to fragrances pretty quickly and needs really extreme stuff. I recommend rather the normal Black Opium. Should you already have the Extreme in the collection, it is also not further Dramatisch, because the two fragrances hardly differ.

... or under your skin. I can't smell myself no matter how close my nose is to your skin. I can't smell you no matter how close I am. My love for you is so strong, I want to be close to you. No being close is an understatement, I want to crawl inside you, I want us to be one. I come closer to you and smell your skin, your own scent. The closer I get, the more I smell you. My nose sticks to your skin, I inhale your scent. I inhale and breathe and smell. That which I perceive, your own scent, which I love so much, I want to smell. I open myself and detach myself from here and now. Losing my mind. I want more. I can't get enough, and I hysterically press my nose against your skin. Not intense enough is the scent. I keep driving and picking at you with my nose. I drive and pick with my nose, trying to find the spot that smells the most like you...
Nothing satisfies, I need to get my nose in closer and I drill down to under your skin. Under my skin. We are one, after all. Beguilingly fresh and animalistic I perceive you, no wait, I perceive me. A slight salty spice I can taste with my nose, like fresh sweat on my skin.

The sillage can really be described with the title. Such a beguiling animalic scent. I find the fragrance perfect for the entry into the animalic fragrance world.

Let's ignore the title but somehow it fits the fragrance. The fragrance I had gotten in search of a leather fragrance as a sample. Thanks goes out to the dear Parfuma.

To describe briefly: the fragrance reminds me of a honey ball the Umhüllt of embalmed, rough leather. Peach? Can not really perceive or I do not know how peach smells in perfume. I find it complex, I can not smell out individual fragrances so. Deshlab I go rather on it, what a bomb this fragrance is.
The description is objective. That does not mean that the fragrance does not paint pictures in the mind.

From the first sniff, I knew that the fragrance sooner or later must be in my closet. Such a potent, delicious, sweet but also rough leather scent. Unisex? Definitely. Did I have to share this scent with you guys? DEFINITELY!

From receiving the sample to the end of sharing. The sample was on my desk the whole time. An arm's length away from me and locked. Nevertheless, a dull, sweet and slightly spicy cloud kiltze my nose again and again. Directly on the skin, it can slay someone, but the subtle scent cloud plays with you. Consciously, I haven't sprayed the scent on yet. First the bottlings before I focus on the scent. I pull off the foil and already a subtle fragrance cloud comes towards me. :D The fragrance was not sprayed!
After I was done bottling, someone walked to the other end of the apartment and was already taking in the scent very strongly. The bottling was done with a syringe without losing a drop. The opinion of this fragrance of this person, I leave times out.

Then came for me but the most beautiful surprise. Already at the sample I thought to myself, this fragrance you can only wear in the deepest winter, so strong is the fragrance. I would like to have only a mini spray, I want to have the subtle, which I had at the desk with my sample. I want the scent to play with me. Even with the bottlings, I thought that.
And then I applied the scent to myself and was once again in love with this scent and with Francesca. The spray is Divine. :D I have never experienced such a light spray from a bottle. Makes sense with an Extrait actually. Trozdem I was surprised.

This is the third time I've gotten around to writing a review. Actually, I have nothing to add to the previous speakers. Two times when I wanted to write something, wanted to share, I thought. Oh no, it was really all said.
But I have recently tested many of my bottlings. Just yesterday and today of which I also had to place an order directly. But, .... BUT ... at the end of the day, here I sit.
I bought myself a bottle of the scent. Filled me directly something, when I am working or studying and I want to sniff a fragrance, Guilty is next to me. Totally happy after my tested perfume, I was sitting at my desk again. I see the Guilty bottling, am happy about it, smell it. Mhhhh.
Simply delicious. My environment has already made me aware of the fragrance. Why do I smell so funny, it smells somehow like a cow barn or fertilizer.
I'm sitting here, ready to go to sleep, wrapped in Guilty. I don't smell cow steel or manure.

I smell leather. Leather, which might not be associated with black patent leather shoes. But rather leather the color of conagc. Outside Smooth but matt. Inside it had rather the Aufgeraute strucktur. Maybe a little like the old leather backpacks in rectangle format.

I can not really perceive the patchouli, all other fragrance notes, I can also say nothing to, but I think the main role here plays the Woodleather. The fragrance runs totally linear. When I spray the scent on my hand in the evening, I can still detect the Woodleather in the morning. However, the scent decreases, it is noticeable but faint. Mainly in the morning I perceive a kind of spiciness that I would describe as peppery.
The scent lasts length, yet all the while I was looking for a scent after I was just as addicted, a scent that would stay just as consistently dirty to me, a scent with maybe more depth and something more complex and even more lasting or more sillage.
I searched, asked a lot of perfumas that have a lot of leather scents, tried a lot of scents that smell like Guilty.

But honestly, none have been there yet. I was allowed to get to know many leather fragrances (thanks to the Parfumas) which are good and which I will also still get. But none was like Guilty.
Finally, I got to try the similar scent from Kilian - Dark Lord. The opening of both actually resemble each other. But also only for a minute. Where Guilty is totally linear, the scent of Kilian is really very complex and changes. After a few minutes, the scents no longer have any similarity for me.
I'm not saying that the Kilian fragrance is bad because of that, no not at all. I think he is society more suitable. Not a crowdpleaser, but... perhaps more pleasant for other noses than the Guilty.
I find the Guilty really tasty and he has a very own character than I was allowed to smell so far. He smells delicious, you can not ignore the fragrance, he is present and shows totally confident that he is there.
Who wants authentic leather, dir well served here, but should bring a portion of healthy self-confidence.

According to the motto: If he is too strong, you are too weak.

I could not have ersouken the bottling to this fragrance at a better time.
Yesterday he arrived and today on the summer Sunday I test him. Currently, we have 27 degrees here. The remaining evening sun kisses my face. I enjoy on the balcony, with a glass of wine, every warm breeze and every single sunbeam.

My skin was already pre-warmed from the evening sun. I take out the fragrance and spray it on the back of my hand. I listen to the wind and imagine ocean sounds. Right now, in the middle of the pandemic, I'm somewhere on a Cinque Terre coast in Italy. Brown long hair, lifted by the slightly warm summer breeze. A white long dress hugs my body, dancing lightly with the breeze. The evening sun colors everything golden-orange, skin tingling. My perfume also dances with the light wind. Dune by Dior. The citrusy opening, detached by the mandarin, pokes me on the nose, I think the bergamot imitates the mandarin. Annoying me, fleeing from it, wanting to play tag with me. The lightness is always quenched by the patchouli and sandalwood. The earthy and dry notes mirror my surroundings and give the scent steadfastness. How can a fragrance smell so juicy and fresh but at the same time so dry. I dance to the wind and my scent. Arriving at the small restaurant in the little alley, I sit down on the wiry and ornate chairs. My skin radiates so much warmth that by the end of the evening, the vanilla and benzoin play lightly and passionately with the front strand of hair that has fallen into my face. As if the fragrance notes were a finger wrapping around the strand of my hair, slightly loosening it, caressing my face. I enjoy the warmth the scent gives me.

I open my eyes ... smell the scent again and give thanks for this journey.

I have many winter scents and maybe a few spring scents. I was missing just such a summer scent for the really hot days.
