Ever since Plato has so badly reprimanded any form of mimesis, there has been an arrogance against imitations of all kinds throughout European intellectual history - if one dares to speak of such a history. Something obscure, dubious, even nefarious is attached to imitations. Courageous people, however, who are not afraid of such things, will enjoy the enormously cheap "Cuba Gold".

The perfume reveals its essence instantly after spraying: a sweet, softly washed freshness that lasts for several hours and is only slightly inferior to "Le Male" in terms of intensity. For me, the scent is also very close and does not fill the room at all. Of course this doesn't have to be bad, but I prefer to confront all bystanders with my olfactory preferences.

The bottle certainly does not have an overly attractive effect on most people. This doesn't bother me at all; however, I noticed that the spray mechanism was no longer fully functional after just a few days (it now requires multiple actuations) - the enormously low price has its price.

Anti-Platonists and smart spenders who have already enjoyed "Le Male" should warmly recommend this fragrance, despite its small flaws

After I had become familiar with "Aventus Creed" in the perfumery, I looked for a worthy duplicate, whether the price of the moon was the same or not. After nightlong research I finally ordered "Club de Nuit Intense Man", unsure whether this venture should be worthwhile; after all, opinions on this seem enormously divided: Some see in this scent an equal - yes, partly even a more sublime - Dupe, others however can hardly hold on with Scheltnamen to themselves.
That's why I spent the time until the arrival of the perfume in question not only in a state of childlike anticipation, but also in some uncertainty and sobering anxiety.

Finally the fateful day had come. I removed the bottle from the slightly damaged packaging - this seems to be a tradition - and wetted the back of the hand with the noble Odeur after a short inspection. There was no relief yet: At first the lemony top note flooded the room, for which I was fortunately prepared.
But when those flew away and the perfume began to dry, my soul rejoiced and the sounds of delight abducted my mouth! It is truly like smelling an - admittedly slightly lemony - "Aventus Creed". The Sillage as well as the durability are just as outstanding.

Fortunately, I was not afraid of the negative reviews. However, since I don't suspect that so many commentators give false testimony, it may well be that Fortuna kissed my bottle while there are inferior batches in circulation.
Anyway, mine (10/2019) corresponds to all my desires, which is why I have to make a purchase recommendation for all Aventus enthusiasts!

Due to the enormously favorable price and the famous evaluations I could not resist a purchase. Initially enthusiastic about the sweet fragrance experience, which is not lacking in complexity, I was soon left sobered, as the comments of the bystanders were almost devastating: Only for older people suitable, headache provoking and "too heavy" is the smell, so the verdict.

At first I resisted the accusations and attributed them to ignorance and a lack of experience with fragrances, but finally I had to cope with cognitive dissonance. However, I could not close myself for long to the "tyranny of the majority" - which sometimes does have a certain wisdom - and after some time spent with this perfume, I was called to a raison d'être: For youngsters like me, still green behind the ears, this scent is not particularly suitable. This is by no means to deny that "Acqua di Parisis Essenza Intensa - Wild Oud" is a complex perfume at an excellent price.

For people who have a certain preference for oriental sweet scents, this is highly recommended. However, the same are warned against the strong defensive reactions that friends and acquaintances often come up with. Because in fact this perfume, because of its rather intrusive heaviness, has a certain headache potential inherent in it. The fact that the fragrance evokes the association of "older people" does not, of course, have to be regarded as bad at all. However, potential wearers should be aware of this fact and decide whether this beautiful perfume is appropriate for their own person
