Spaghetti Ice Cream
I love spaghetti ice cream. It's actually strange because usually I have no weakness for vanilla ice cream (boring!), nor for strawberry sauce (sticky!), and definitely not for whipped cream (only for my great-aunt!). Only white chocolate, well, that's acceptable.
But in combination of the four ingredients, there is nothing better for me. Delicious.

I feel the same way about Confetti. Judging by the name alone, I expected a fruity, cheerful, sparkling, colorful scent - maybe Lush - Love. At that point, I also didn't understand why Confetti is called Confetti. It actually refers not to the cheerful paper snippets, but to sugar-coated almonds.
Then a look at the fragrance notes: Rose? Violet? Pear? Phew. I can't really stand those in fragrances. Well, coffee, coffee might work. Since I had already sniffed through a few Lush scents, I bravely ordered a bottle of Confetti at the next opportunity.
And lo and behold: so beautiful! First, I perceive the sweet, ripe, juicy pear, then I smell an authentic rose. Really lovely, as if one were inhaling from a huge bouquet of red roses. Then violets and coffee join in, giving everything a powdery, herbal, green note. And then magically, everything blends into a scent that, indeed! reminds one of sugar-coated almonds: powdery, sweet, but without being sticky or too much.

My Great Fragrance Love
My fragrance journey began with excitement. My colleague smelled absolutely dreamy at our Christmas party. I asked her about her perfume, forgot the name, thought it couldn't be that hard, and searched the internet for a scent that smelled like green tea, sniffed through bottle after bottle at Müller and Douglas and our local perfumery, and nothing compared to Lust. I ordered samples and learned to love good fragrances. But I couldn't find the one. I changed jobs and, as a farewell, I asked my colleague once more. A Lush scent! Although I have always liked Lush, the fragrances had been too much for me until now, too intense, and in doubt, they only triggered migraines. I drove an hour (!) to the nearest Lush store and sniffed. Wow, there it was. My scent! Of course, I had to take the bottle with me. Oh God!
On my skin, Lust smells floral (of course!), herbal, and then becomes creamy. Somehow also fruity, and I can't deny the association with dark pink chewing gum. I now know that the association was not green tea, but jasmine tea. Well, close enough!

I wear it at Christmas as well as in the height of summer. I wear it at the office and when going out. It envelops me, it carries me. The scent comforts me. It puts me in a good mood. It suits me. It is my little piece of home in a bottle. I have sniffed through hundreds of perfumes and discovered countless treasures, but if I had to choose one scent, it would be Lust. It would always be Lust. When I wear another perfume, I sometimes briefly sniff at the bottle.
When I read the reviews here, I might still make an appointment for an ADHD diagnosis, just to be safe.

Interestingly, it is a crowd-pleaser and a compliment guarantee for me.
