The neroli that would rather be jasmine ..
What is the fragrance pyramid interested in, if the fragrance pleases? Admittedly, I did not have a neroli fragrance so far, only neroli as a component in other fragrances was known to me. Now I already had the Uomo with its pronounced leather note from Ferrari Essence a few years ago, which I liked very much and had nothing, absolutely nothing, in common with the usual drugstore Ferraris. I didn't even want to buy it, but the saleswoman in a small perfumery recommended it to me. So this was not to be my last of the Essence range and so I bought Bright Neroli a good three years ago, after reading the many praising reviews about this fragrance here. I take it right away: This fresh fragrance has it me from the beginning consistently angetan.

To the course there is actually not much to write - it remains as it is. Fresh, present, never intrusive and he lifts the mood. The citrus start, which is very concise after spraying, calms down quickly it becomes extremely pleasing. If you were going by the name alone, this would be the program. I can't perceive the lemon petigrain stated in the fragrance pyramid, nor the Calabrian lemon (how does that smell anyway?) as being as intense as you read. Most likely I perceive the bitter orange, I know that from the English orange marmalade (the bitter note). And then the vetiver comes through the back door for me. It's unmistakably there, but it stays in the background, which I think is good, because I don't really like vetiver at all - at least not of the Guerlain or Tom Ford variety. The scent stays like that with me, but later becomes much softer. This is very nice.

For a while I always had this fragrance in the nose, although I had not put it on and it was a mystery to me where that came from. Then, while gardening, the epiphany came. While mowing the lawn, my path inevitably led me past the flowering jasmine bush and I then had the scent of Bright Neroli constantly in my nose. It took some time until I actually smelled the flowers of the jasmine and ... Tadaaaa! It is a Bright Neroli bush disguised as jasmine. Maybe it's just me who perceives this strong relationship, but if it's the same for others, the scent probably should have been called Bright Jasmine or similar. It's amazing what can come out when you mix many things with each other, but the components of the result do not occur at all in it.

My conclusion: One of the most beautiful summer fragrances (I use it all year round) that you can buy and for an apple and an egg ;-)

What a stupid name for such a beautiful perfume
Admittedly, "Moustache" sounds nuttier for a perfume than "Moustache", so I prefer to think of the beautiful scent rather than the translation of the name. What you might have thought of when naming the perfume probably remains a secret. Or does any of you know more?

Now I bought the Moustache in the 125 ml version as a blind purchase (what a racket!) and have not regretted the purchase. For me it is an elegant evergreen, for every season and every occasion. Others may look at it differently, but thank God the scent remains subjective

I perceive the tangerine indicated in the fragrance pyramid more sourly than sweetly, which is possibly due to the cedar wood. This fresh scent stays with me for quite a long time, but I like it. At the beginning I also notice a strong similarity to the Bentley Infinite Intense, but not as pungent. The Bentley then remains rather straightforward, less noble and fine. After about 1 hour the Moustache wraps around you like a second skin and becomes softer without losing its freshness. Everything is well interwoven, balanced and nothing is disturbing. I don't notice much of the patchouli though - maybe later, in a few hours ;-) The shelf life is very good even with only two sprays, the sillage is pleasant, which might not be the case with much more sprays. The flacon is probably one of the most beautiful ones currently available.

Conclusion: Those who want an eau de parfum with an unbeatable price-performance ratio should have a closer look at the Moustache or simply buy it blind. There is nothing wrong with the price. The quality is fantastic and you are always up for it.

Trim-tight scent for armchair pup
Hi there,

the title of my comment is not intended to devalue the fragrance, but rather to indicate that this fragrance has little to do with sport, but is good for everyone who does not apply it before sport.

Having read all the comments, I cannot decide what to believe for the reader who wants to know something about this fragrance. But what becomes clear is that the fragrance is clearly underrated here. On the one hand, this is probably due to the fact that perceptions and tastes are different and the fragrance might per se be under the radar, because it is available for just 12.99 Euros. Can this be a decent scent? Yes, it can, because this brewery man brings everything with him that is usually not to be expected in this price range. He doesn't smell like the usual drugstore scents, which usually have a classic aftershave note. For me, it also does not smell synthetic, as mentioned here.

Pine, ylang-ylang I cannot perceive and ambergris can be guessed with much benevolence. Right from the start, a very masculine note of cedar and vetiver prevails, which remains throughout the fragrance. But that pretty much says it all here, because the brewery man does not go through a great fragrance development. I miss the citrus freshness I mentioned a bit - maybe this would have made it a sports fragrance after all. As for sillage and shelf life, I'm holding back a bit, because I don't like it anyway, when you smell like an exploded scented pillow.

A similarity to the Braukmann Classic I can only find in the Braukmann DNA. A few days ago I was able to sniff a sample of the Classic and it smells leatherier, spicier and is a perfect match for my father (80). The "Sport" is for me a perfect copy of the Kiton for men. In direct comparison I can hardly see any difference between the two. Also the Kiton behaves similarly in the smell process - hardly a development worth mentioning, but extremely portable, if you like it.

Conclusion: Braukmann Sport is an excellent fragrance not only for everyday use. It actually always works (if you have already shaved) and convinces with an excellent price/performance ratio. With the low price, the bottle is appropriate - it's unlikely to become a collector's item.

I like the..

Aventus or maybe not?
Good morning together,

i've been reading here with interest for some time now, but I couldn't get carried away with a comment so far - until today ... Here's my first contribution to this, in my opinion, solid Eau de Parfum at an unbeatably low price.

Admittedly, I bought the fragrance out of curiosity, because on different platforms Aventus is mentioned again and again as a reference to this fragrance. We will see if it proves to be a good Dupe. Ultimately, however, it remains my subjective opinion.

Aventus is well known to me, so the expectations were quite high with all the praise. Vibrant Leather was used for the first time yesterday and I was a bit surprised when I sprayed it on for the first time. It seemed to be quite alcoholic, but this disappeared within seconds - thank God. Then, as expected, it turned out to be very citric, but first there was nothing to smell of the expected pineapple (it's not even listed in the fragrance pyramid) and then it was suddenly there. No fresh pineapple, like sliced fruit, no, it smells a bit synthetic already, but I know that from Aventus as well - but a bit finer there, not so exuberantly fresh. Yes, it starts well, I thought, and now give the fragrance a little time to develop. And here's the problem. While the Aventus becomes masculine, smoky and woody, the pineapple is pushed into the background, Vibrant Leather simply remains pineapple. Not so present anymore, a little softer and more pleasing but just pineapple. There should be bamboo (how does it smell? I have some in the garden and it smells like nothing) and leather. Patchouli is also called. None of this is there, or I just can't smell it. And why is the fragrance actually called Vibrant Leather, suggesting a leather fragrance, or?

If I now compare VL with Aventus, one must say that the top note is almost identical, but then we have completely different scents here. There's no mention of Dupe, Clone or whatever. Top notes of this kind can be found in countless fragrances. But the VL is always an alternative for everyday life. But perhaps the manufacturer would have been well advised to give this fragrance a more suitable name, because as mentioned above, I expected the name and the fragrance pyramid to be leather, something woody with a fruity touch.

I find the shelf life to be very good. Used yesterday afternoon with two sprays, I could still clearly smell the scent this morning. I can't understand why this fragrance is said to lack performance and durability. In this context a note to all Powersprayer:

Our brain has a unique function. It warns and protects us by allowing us to perceive dangerous substances, spoiled food, etc., but also by constantly suppressing harmless smells that surround us. There's our own smell, for example. If we could perceive this, it wouldn't be bearable. If we are overconditioned, we also no longer perceive perfume. So we are well advised to dose our favourite fragrances sparingly (10 - 12 sprayers is already hard tobacco). Moreover, it is quite horrible when a fragrance enters the room in front of the wearer.

Conclusion: An Aventus is not, but to get such a great fragrance for small money is already a brilliant achievement. There are much more expensive counterparts that do not even begin to present what the price suggests to us. My recommendation: Buy as long as the fragrance is available - if you like pineapple ;-)
