Opinion on the Extrait and EDP
I recently bought the Extrait and the EDP. I have to say, I imagined both scents to be fruitier. I have often read that the Extrait smells more leathery. Still, I hoped it wouldn't be too intense.
The combination of raspberry and leather prompted me to make the purchase since I had never experienced this combination before.
For me, the Extrait is simply too leathery, and the EDP could also use a bit more raspberry.
But that's just my opinion.
Or maybe my nose isn't picking it up well.
The EDP does smell more pleasant, even though I still don't like it.
As so often, I like to buy blind and let myself be surprised.
Sometimes you just miss the mark.
I can't comment on the longevity since I only tested both for one day and didn't have any reactions as I was just at home.
Honestly, I don't constantly sniff myself, haha.
And the nose will eventually become blind anyway.
I think anyone who likes leather will be well served with the Extrait.
I personally see the scent on someone wearing a leather jacket, who is rockin' it, visiting festivals, or wants to make a statement. At least with the Extrait.

Unfortunately, the licorice note bothers me
First of all, I have to say that the scent is really strong.
The longevity, to get that out of the way, is amazing.
I bought it blind upon its release.
I really like strong fragrances.
But the licorice is not really my thing.
On the other hand, the freshness that accompanies this scent is truly top-notch.
It could indeed have been a strong sauvage elixir without licorice.
For me, the licorice aspect just doesn't fit somehow.
However, for those who enjoy spicy scents, this could definitely appeal to them.
