And then I was surprised. I was looking forward to a cherry scent, similar to Lost Cherry. Since the original doesn’t really last well in my opinion, I was excited like crazy. Then I thought... Well, just a dupe. There are dupes everywhere, so what’s there to look forward to?

Yesterday I sprayed the scent on myself, directly on the skin, just to test it out. At first, yes, Lost Cherry, nice cherry, a bit synthetic but I actually like it that way. After a while, however, the character changes. After about 15 minutes, it smelled for a brief moment like a cheap body spray. But then it comes back, expressive. I hardly notice the rum anymore. But vanilla, orange blossom, and cherry are left and harmonize perfectly together. So it’s a nice scent, even though I find it significantly more feminine after a while than at the beginning (which doesn’t bother me at all).

So I made my way home. In my house, there’s a bakery, so it always smells strongly of baked goods. I encounter my neighbor in the stairwell, who wanted to come over to my place again. He tells me from 3 meters away that I smell great. He says I smell nicely of cherry. Okay, I’m surprised. I sprayed about 6 times, maybe 7, 3 hours ago. And despite the strong smell in the house, and even though I’m a smoker, he still tells me from 3 meters how good I smell. Stable, I think to myself and go inside.

After a long night, I woke up this morning, and my arm, where I applied the scent, smells pleasantly vanilla-cherry. Wow, did I just discover a scent for around 50 euros for 50ml that lasts more than 12 hours on the skin? Genius.

What can I say? If you like cherry, you should definitely buy this one. Clearly. It lasts well, has a good sillage, and the scent smells good too. Unfortunately, it doesn’t suit me. But I will buy it for my wife. That much is certain.

I am a bloom fan, many are not. I definitely sense that. But I can't imagine how anyone could not like this one.

The regular one smells like the premises of the local flower shop, this one has those notes too, but it comes across warmer. The cardamom makes it mildly spicy, it radiates beautifully.

Upon the first spray, it seemed almost light, but after 30 seconds, the depth of this wonderful fragrance unfolded. The vanilla and musk smell completely natural, for me, it’s one of the most beautiful women's fragrances, even though I usually prefer lighter scents.

I would buy it for my wife anytime again, I would wear it myself too. Simply amazing.

The only downside: the bottle is really beautiful. But why on earth is the label crooked? Well. It doesn’t detract from the fragrance at all.

The title probably doesn’t suggest anything good. But I mean that 100% positively. Dad was on a job, after a lot of smoking on the way home he arrives, I’m 8 and secretly awake, Friday night at 1. I hear him showering, shaving, and walking through the hallway, he comes to check on me. I pretend to be asleep, but as he opens the door, a scent rushes in. Cheap aftershave, citrusy, traces of smoke, barely noticeable, the scent of shower gel, somehow finely woody. That’s how Dad smells if you ask me.

I spray the scent in 2023 for the first time and think to myself: "Wow! That’s it." I remember the time in our old apartment, the feeling that days went on forever and the joy of going with Dad to get rolls the next morning.

For me, a very special scent. If I had kids, I would want them to smell just like this. Although it’s so fresh, I can wear it in any season. Especially in summer, even beyond 30 degrees, but also in winter. A well-groomed, pleasantly masculine scent, not at all intrusive, and even with what feels like 20 sprays, never too much.

The scent reminds me of jeans jackets. Clean, but worn-out, pale jeans jackets. For me, the most beautiful Chanel scent, and I like many from the house.

Grandma's garden shed, late summer. After a day’s work, Grandma invites the relatives for coffee in the allotment garden. The lemon cake is thawing, the warm shed gives off a slightly musty scent, and the coffee that Grandma filled into a rather leaky canister at the beginning of the season sits next to the old filter machine that gurgles comfortably. Somehow a familiar scent, strange that it now exists as a perfume.

Unfortunately for me, it is less seductive than the name suggests, coming off rather musty.

My colleague says: "Spray it on, after 2 hours it's really okay!" I spray, and after 2 hours, all the nice aspects have faded even more, I think. Strange, she actually has good taste. But even if she does, would I want a scent that is only okay after 2 hours? Well, not for this price.

What you have to keep in mind is that it is something new from D&G, bold and not just another flanker of something that works, but something of its own. But unfortunately, it's not for me.
