The holy grail of Aventus!
Although I've already written a review of Afnan Not only Intense, I had to revisit, anything else wouldn't do this board justice.

In a few words,

If you have been searching for the holy grail of Aventus for a long time, you will find it with Not only Intense!

I have been able to test many well known Aventus clones extensively including CDNI, Silver, L'Aventure, Insurrection Pure 2, Vibrant Leather, the Zebra and each time hoped to find a worthy, adequate alternative to the great original.... to arrive at some point and stop looking for the hair in the soup.
But something always bothered me.
Either they were too synthetic, too mushy, not enough smoke, too ashy, or had a miserable shelf life.

With Not only Intense, you actually get an Aventus like you've always wanted.
Ripe, juicy fruit in perfect balance with the smoke.
Here everything smells super balanced, clean and luxurious, as you know it from a 300€ fragrance. A 99.9% Aventus!
It does not get any better than this!

But what makes Not only Intense even better than the original is the incredible performance!
Sprayed on in the morning, he is omnipresent throughout the day and until evening almost unchanged.
Here you learn again the difference between an Eau de Parfum and an Extrait de Parfum.
The sillage is thereby at least 6 hours room-filling and many compliments guaranteed!

I am happy to say that I have finally arrived on my quest for the perfect Aventus.
No more CDNI and co.
Here you get an Aventus that beats even the original!

In the States, he is already making big waves and is mostly sold out.
Here, he has not yet made the rounds and in addition, he is currently still at an unbeatable price of 36 € to get.

NOI comes in a fantastic, luxurious packaging that resembles a DVD box.
Thus, Afnan is also consciously different from the other fragrances in this series.

Conclusion: Who owns Afnan Not only Intense, which needs no more original Aventus.
More simply does not go! Chapeu!

Direct hit!
After some good experiences with oriental fragrances, I have once again been inspired by the great reviews here to make another new blind buy.
I love blind purchases, by the way, because the surprise moment is the greatest.
Many hours you have then already dealt with ratings and reviews and hope at the end to land an olfactory bull's eye.

So I actually watched the Hawas of Rasasi for a long time, but then prioritized other fragrances. Why? No idea. Maybe because Hawas just seemed a little too unimpressive to me.

That this neglect should be unfounded, turned out when I could smell the fragrance for the first time on my skin a few days ago.

Wow!!! What a prelude! What a hit!
After countless mediocre scents I've had the pleasure of smelling over the years, Hawas brings everything a sexy, masculine summer scent needs to bring to the table for me.

Full power, cinnamon in the opening, a caressing, creamy musk-sandalwood base, peppered with caradamom, fruits and flowers.
Rarely have I smelled such a refined fragrance that combines fruit, wood and flowers so skillfully.
Definitely a compliment getter and women magnet!
In my opinion, the even plays in the Aventus league and I am certainly no one who rashly lifts a fragrance in this league.

Are there any criticisms?
Dufttechnisch no. The Flacon is nothing special, but that is for me rather secondary.

By the way, since here some discussions about dilution, reformulation, etc. have taken place, I can only say about it that my Hawas, bought at beginning with N and ending with O, is from 04/21 and has a purple coloring.
The power is mighty! Strong, room-filling sillage and lasts 10h+ on my skin.

Thanks to the writers here for helping to expand my olfactory horizons again!

Chapeu!

Damn! Why's so complicated?!
Rarely have I struggled so hard with a review as with this black teddy bear from Moschino.
Should I love him, or hate?
Can I take the fragrance seriously, or does the ridiculous flacon prevail?
It's so fckn complicated!

The provocative presentation is certainly an eye-catcher for perfume newcomers and young people, but old hands will be put off with it rather.

If you dare then but to the fragrance, you get something completely different delivered than you would actually expect.
I expected a sugary sweet 0815 shower gel fragrance, but instead a wayward rose resin surprised my nose.

Yes, I would describe it as rose resin, because the strong floral and feminine notes are surrounded by something masculine and animalic.
The floral notes fortunately diminish over time, making way for
a fine tart spice blend a la 1001 Nights.
Alone therefore it could also well be an Orientale.
I think Montale, or Mancera also have similar fragrance lines in their range, but cost a few euros more.

The question for me now is, is it wearable or not?!
I say jain.
If you are brave, you can walk the teddy bear, but it will polarize.
One(s) must already have a certain sympathy to rose scents, otherwise it will be nix.

An animalistic, mysterious and sexy aura I can already certify the fragrance, but he can also quickly annoying.
Just because he is already quite loud after spraying and has a strong sillage.
No fragrance for every day, no Everyone Darling fragrance, but he has what.
Damn, why's so complicated?!

Powdered your nose today?
For some time now, I have been gradually rearranging my perfume collection.
In the past, I mostly just dealt with the latest western designer fragrances and became increasingly disappointed by the low durability and unimaginative one-size-fits-all.

Because of these disappointments, the Arab fragrance houses got more and more attention.
They make very good clones to well known western fragrances and cost a fraction to do so. Often they are in no way inferior to the original and are even sometimes better.

There you can still find real jewels and insider tips, which, thank God, rarely get around in the Western world.
If you are a little busy with the www and know which fragrance you like, you can quickly lose track, however, I gladly accept this challenge to maybe one day make the new discovery that makes my olfactory heart beat faster.

One of the positive surprises this year comes from the fragrance house Ajmal and is called Evoke Silver.

The Flacon 100ml I could scam for < 30€ and thereby I was not difficult a Blindbuy.

The fragrance is immediately present after spraying and a clear PdM Pegasus DNA spreads.
Powdery, sweet and skillfully smoky at the same time. A true flatterer!

Cardamom, violet and incense are probably the protagonists in Evoke.
Although the incense, is not a cold, ashy church incense, but rather serves as an ABS system for the otherwise opulent sweetness of violet and cardamom.
Amber and woody notes make the composition a well-rounded affair.
Nothing seems distracting or out of place.
A wonderful well wearable niche fragrance for sensual evenings for two.
For the price actually a must buy!

With 7-8 hours of durability Evoke is not a beast, but quite satisfactory.
The sillage is not room-filling, but in the first 2-3 hours well perceptible from the environment.

The fragrance can be worn by both men and women because of the floral violet and its powdery base.

Overall a great fragrance, with strong Pegasus DNA at a bargain price!

Completion
The olfactory perception takes place mostly in the subconscious.
Many people underestimate the power of the sense of smell and yet the nose is always active and even manipulates our thoughts.
She even decides on the choice of a partner, lets forgotten moments reappear before our eyes and warns us of danger.
A wonderful sense organ that I would never want to do without.

Le Parfum by Jean Paul Gaultier has an incredible, sensual, masculine aura.
It remains true to the DNA of the classic Le male, but the floral touch of the iris makes Le Parfum finer and creamier than sprinkling icing sugar on a cake.
The durability is amazing and the drydown sensual and sexy.
