Hey @Violetaura ! 😊 Responding here from the article comments -
I'm with you in loving jasmine and orange blossom notes, too! I promise I'm not just saying that lol. Do you have a favorite jasmine-forward scent?
Those both sound like excellent blind buys, I've heard great things about Police To Be Tattooart but haven't tried it yet - so I'll watch for any reviews you might write!
Keeping a cap on your bottle number is a smart way to go - then you're making sure that every fragrance you keep, is one you truly love.
Thank you for your kind words! 💖 I search for specific scent types that my collection is missing, usually centered around an occasion, a note I enjoy, or to replace a discontinued scent I miss - such as a fig-forward gourmand (I've been on the hunt for an excellent fruity-fig blend for a while, but fig notes are often too green/earthy - so I'm still looking).
Are you looking for specific fragrance types?
Once you reach 20 bottles, what will help you decide to part with?
@Gourmandgrl Hey sorry for the late reply, I gotta fix my notifications! The only scent I have that has very noticable jasmine is Alien lol! But I spray it so lightly, with the mist application method so I don't get a headache. Otherwise jasmine & orange blossom are in mid notes of so many I love!
That sounds lovely. I have such sad experiences with discontinued fragrances too :( and a good number that I have might disappear soon. I have been decluttering very strategically along the way, and I think it will be easy to keep it below 20 tbh! But I'll have a meltdown once more are discontinued
(theres a word limit for these replies ugh) Currently I'm interested in getting some more body spray versions of celebrity scents. I think that's a good way to try some without committing to a perfume bottle, and I'm wanting to try body mist application as my partner is sensitive to perfume :(
