Shock frost raspberries and Schweppes
I hate incense, don't understand aldehydes and don't like the smell of fresh lilies. I only smelled Moon Child out of curiosity - and was very surprised.
The first thing I notice is the smell of shock-frost raspberries or freeze-dried raspberries - a dry berry that crumbles into a raspberry-scented dust in your fingers. Then come tingling bubbles on the nose, dry, cool dust and something reminiscent of Schweppes - or perhaps tarragon lemonade, but not tarragon directly, rather a dry bitterness in the background.
In hot and humid weather, a delicate floral fragrance unfolds with a cool, dry crumbly edge. In cooler weather, the scent creates a sense of loneliness - the kind where you feel like you're alone in the entire universe. But then the fragrance warms up and you slowly thaw out of this cosmic solitude and return to the world.
