Great scent especially for the price!
Very fresh, citrusy, clean, almost sweet, vetiver scent. Classic french perfumery for a great price. Not much to dislike. I like to layer mine with other scents. Doesn't last forever, but great for softer fragrance days! The vanille scent will always have my heart, but the vetiver scent is a close second!
Hate turned to Love
I bought my bottle for cheap hoping to test it and fall in love. I had heard so much about the brand. I have since tested many, none have been full bottle worthy to me but I was stuck with this one. At least that's what I thought. Sometimes I have learned I need to test things several times over a large period of time, and while trying to sell my bottle I ended up slowly falling in love with it. Sure, it is linear but done so well. It has such a beautiful smokey/woody quality that my nose was not used to appreciating. Even with it being smokey, it has this fresh side that makes me adore it compared to other woody scents I have tested. Would I repurchase? Probably not, but I am enjoying my bottle for the time being.
Cool Florist
Mossy glen was one I had to smell several times to really love, now it is one of my favorites in my collection. Yes, it smells like a florist shop, but inside the refrigerators. Fresh cut stems, sitting in water buckets, with the different florals around. It is unique and something truly captivating in a way I have never experienced.
Home?
I am on a hunt for a fragrance that reminds me of what home felt like as a kid. When everything seemed ok. Through my journey I stumbled across espiritu, and although it isn't home for me oh do i find comfort in this scent. I think this is one of the best woody scents I have ever come across. Sillage is low but I think it makes sense for this type of fragrance. Notes do not compete, not overly leathery or tobacco smokey, just a perfect blend of comfort.
Favorite Rice Scent
I do not understand the initial reviews. This reminds me of celestial object with objectively more of a rice note and less nutty/almond. Creamy, sweet for sure but compared to the gourmands on the market this is not intoxicatingly sweet. I love this! Mossy glen will always be my #1 but this is a close second.
