Class beyond words
Not one of a kind in terms of scent profile but it is the best of the best. Sophisticated and classy, Chanel DNA is rich in 1957, probably the most out of all Les Exclusifs.
There is no wrong occasion to wear it, it fits in daily life, lifting you out of drab gloomy corpo life, but also shines as an evening spectacle.
Like I said, powder, musk and iris isn't a new concept, but it is blended so well and so elegantly that it seems ethereal compared to the others.
Easily my favourite of my collection and one I will buy over and over.

Like a roast dinner in a high end restaurant - simple but done very well.
Light, fuzzy vanilla. Not sickly or sour (as I thought the oakmoss would make it), but just right imo. I don't really know what the oakmoss is doing in this tbh because I can't tell it's there. I'm not against it, I love Reptile from Celine, but I can't even get a hint of it in this. Would buy a FB and wear a lot, however it is expensive.
