Just for Fun: What Would They Wear? (Arcane Edition)
Hope no one minds if I get a little silly with it here. I like assigning perfumes to people in my daily life, and when I run out of people, I start doing it to fictional characters. So I figured I'd share some of my associations, maybe in an ongoing series. Might be a little cringy, but hey, it's fun, and maybe it'll be entertaining. (And please let me know if you do this, too...)
The last TV show I binged was Arcane (on Netflix)... what a beautiful and colorful show. I never knew 3D animation could be so detailed! And it has such a pretty, painterly texture to it that I love (I'm still not playing League of Legends, though). There's probably spoilers about it below. If you care about that, you've been warned.
Jinx - Chameleon by Zoologist

She has such a colorful character design, and she vanishes into her puffs of colored smoke the way a chameleon vanishes into its background. Zoologist's cheerful Chameleon evolves with layers of tropical fruits and flowers in a way I think Jinx's multilayered personality would appreciate. Also, the girl deserves some fun in her life.
Vi- Vi et Armis by Beaufort London

Vi stands for... Vi et Armis. This fragrance is dense and smoky, tough and uncompromising, a powerhouse that hits as hard as Vi does. It seems like it'd match her, especially the black-eyeshadowed pit fighter look she adopts in the second season.
Caitlyn- I am Trash by Etat Libre d'Orange
I didn't like her.
(Just kidding, it's actually...)
Caitlyn Kiramman- She Was an Anomaly by Etat Libre d'Orange

She Was an Anomaly is not nearly as anomalous as its name would suggest, a soft sandalwood and iris. The fragrance is sensible and businesslike enough for Caitlyn's job as a police officer, while being delicate and powdery in a way that suits her grace and femininity. (Plus, the sillage is so low it won't give away her sniping position....)
Viktor- St. Louis Cemetery #1 by Alkemia

Viktor goes through so many transformations throughout the series, it's hard to keep track, but this is for my favorite look of his as the half-metal cult leader. Lush and green, like the environment he builds in his commune, but with an eerie cold stone edge to it that foreshadows his next transformation.
(And the next transformation? That liquid he had pumped into him? That was pure Alien, my friends)
Jayce Talis- A City on Fire by Imaginary Authors

Jayce and Vi are both wearing heavy-hitting smokey fragrances, but while Vi et Armis is a raw smoke, City on Fire is smoke given a tuxedo, dressed and prettied up a little. The power of the forge is still there, but tamed into something appropriate for Progress Day speeches and Council meetings.
Mel Medarda- Gold Heart v4 by Map of the Heart

Speaking of Council meetings, the queen of politics wears the highest honor I can give her, the Heart of Peace. With its saffron overdose, it's elegant, rich, and timeless, drawing attention without demanding it. A wise investment, and as a bonus it matches her color palette.
Ekko- Mousse Illuminée by Rogue

It seems fitting that the Boy who Shattered Time should have a retro-revival perfume. And this one in particular is a beautiful mossy green, matching the tree that gives life to his community. Rugged enough for the timeline he lives in, but classy enough to suit Ekko's life in the happier timeline.
Sky Young- Dust by Demeter Fragrance Library

Too soon?
Anyway, that's more than enough... what do you think? Agree, disagree? Do you do this when you're watching things, too? I can't be the only one, right? Any recent books or shows that have triggered your perfume brain like this?
Thanks for indulging my whims :) -KitTea
