parfumo should let statements be a little bit longer
if you want the coconut milk note to last, spray this on fabric. its almost pure coconut milk/tonka bean/tiare on clothes. on skin it almost instantly disappears from coconut milk to tiare, musk, and white florals. i love the opening for this so much but it just doesnt work as a perfume for me, since i was really looking forward to the coconut and ice cream notes. this is way better as a nice spritz on a shirt but kind of expensive for something that exclusively works on fabric
intriguing nose feel
first off: i have never done poppers. i've done something popper-like but i didn't ask what it was, and it was back in like 2016/2017 and it was in a vague brown bottle so honestly i could not tell you what it was or what it even smelled like at this point.
i went ahead and blind bought the travel size bottle of
Citrush (2025). i was like "woah, black pepper? frosted mint? terpenes??" i figured it was pretty safe for a BB, plus the proceeds go to the trevor project which made me feel a bit better about the BB. i wasnt really sure what to expect, all i knew was that this is a pretty popular fragrance, i've never smelled a boy smell before, and it sounds up my alley.
when it came in the mail, i started off by smelling the atomizer and i was VERY impressed. i sprayed a bit in the cap and let my partner smelled it and we were both like "woah".
now that i'm wearing it, it's definitely a journey.
it starts off with such a nice peppery citrus smell, and i feel like the frosted mint and terpenes are in there too. unfortunately, the pepper does not last very long, nor does the mint. it dries down (almost immediately) into what i call a "pleasant and delightful orange THC oil with some other shit going on that makes it really intriguing". other ways i've described it are "it's like if you took the machine that makes weed oil, and you used it to make pomelo oil" and also "like a really nice Male citrus fragrance with a blast of something synthetic but not unpleasant". i really like the almost chemically smell that dances around the bundle of citruses. it feels fresh and masculine, i like how it sits in my nose. there are various citrus notes in it's life cycle that all feel insanely fresh to me - you know how when you squeeze a lemon wedge and you can see an insane cacophony of the oils and juices spraying everywhere? that exact image comes to mind, only with pomelo. there are times when i feel like i smell a super fresh grapefruit peel, a particularly oily one at that.
was it worth the blind buy? sure, mostly because there's no way to get a sample of it (that i've noticed). it's a complete toss up as to whether or not i would have gotten the travel size after trying a sample. i know i definitely don't regret buying it, it's great for the hot summer we're about to have, and i think it's neutral enough to be a nice walking around fragrance. if someone walked past me wearing this, i would definitely sniff the air and ponder what they were wearing, i might even ask them about it.

a fresh beachside forest
smells great on my partner, i need to try it again on myself. 100% smells like a damp forest on the edge of a cliff. i dont get a lot of smoke which i'm actually grateful for cuz my skin tends to lean too hard into smoke notes. on my partner, it smells almost like a jewel toned green, it makes me think of lush pine needles on a rainy day. quite nice
def for shell/beach sand lovers
before i say anything else, i need to try it again. very nice frangipani/roasted seashell/vanilla, and it dries into a sweeter vanilla floating around what i assume is the seashell note. i got the extrait sample, so the scent is pretty intimate. it also dries into too much shell and frangipani to me, to the point where i find myself really wishing for more vanilla to pair it with. i have a hard time getting kelp or ambergris from this but maybe the edp is different. i'll come back if my nose changes to it next time i try it!
big nemat W here
i developed a very sudden and obsessive fetish for vanilla this summer (2025). i dont know why or where it came from, i've always been more turned off by gourmands, and the rare gourmand i did enjoy was very specific. i'm a huge
Amber Perfume Oil fan, have been for like over 10 years at this point, and i never really stopped to try more than sniffing their other scents at their displays. i don't think vanilla musk was ever a part of those displays, cuz if it was, i swear i would have fucking loved it. i got a 1mL sample for super cheap recently, and i'm already almost out of it. it has a pretty impressive bubble - maybe unscented moisturizer would make the sillage go a bit further. i feel like it lasts for an entire day but it's very close to the skin. the vanilla is very clean, the musk gives it a certain edge that keeps it from being too gourmand-y. i don't really get baked goods from it too much, but sometimes i get a faint whiff.... and it reminds me of cream puffs made with choux pastry. w my skin it def leans more into a clean musk when it dries, and it retains the sweetness until i grab the sample and apply it for the 2nd half of the day. there are some days where i feel like it has more throw, and some days i feel like it lasts longer. it comes and goes.
coming back to say: honestly i feel like it USUALLY lasts very long. but what i came here to edit my review to say is - (i'm smelling it a full 12+ hours after i put it on) the musk when it's completely dry is CRAZYYYYYYYY. it's not quite like
Amber Perfume Oil, but i would def describe it as a "clean" and "white" musk. it's REALLY nice and i never really noticed it before. crazy that almost a full day after applying it i still have some scent left.
tl;dr as someone who is really picky about gourmands, and is already a fan of nemat, this is great. definitely worth a full size blind buy if you already know you like vanilla. i'm interested to hear from others if the EDP version has more throw or longevity!
