I got it for free with an order, so I had no expectations at all and was positively surprised as a result. Powdery, somewhat soapy, feminine, not too sweet or heavy. It's more of a close-to-the-skin, inconspicuous fragrance for everyday wear, the office, or small errands. Not the kind of perfume that makes people turn around after you, more of a "she smells nice", when you happen to look over your colleague's shoulder. But overall, unfortunately, nothing particularly special.

It really comes close to the original by PDM, which must be said, and is, in my opinion, the best alternative in terms of value for money.

For a fresh fragrance, its longevity is good, it gets noticed, and has already earned me the odd compliment.

However, I personally feel, as do some people who have smelled it on me over a longer period, that it somehow has a slightly piercing note. Of course, this can vary from skin to skin, but it sometimes does not seem entirely well-rounded to me. I absolutely love layering it, for example with Angham, Dalal, Delilah or with the muse, which balances out this note. For that reason, and considering the price, as I also feel that valaya is more of a fragrance that develops its strength when layered, it is a really good product.

When I first smelled it, I was thrilled and almost thought I had found a new everyday fragrance for spring and summer. I wore it continuously for two weeks, but just as quickly as it won me over, it lost its appeal again.

It is very pleasing, earns compliments and is definitely easy to wear.
Nevertheless, I sometimes find it almost too squeakily sweet, and at times it has some kind of unpleasant note that bothers me a little, comes across as somewhat overpowering to me and may cause headaches. To me, it is more of a youthful, wild floral explosion that lacks a certain elegance. I am glad to own it and enjoy reaching for it from time to time, and when layered just right, it is certainly very wearable.
I think it is difficult to go wrong with it, and younger girls in particular will have fun with it, and especially for the price, I absolutely do not regret the purchase. However, I would not repurchase it.

First of all, I have to say that, for me, it easily outperforms the original. In terms of price, but also in longevity and projection.

Already my second bottle. To me, it is a very mature, elegant, dry vanilla with a warm but not sticky sweetness. The lavender makes it feel a little more herbal and calmer. It is a serious yet very feminine and pleasant everyday fragrance.

What I particularly like is that it is absolutely perfect for layering as well.

Simply a no-brainer for everyday wear that lasts all day and works for almost any season and occasion.
