Delilah Blanc Maison Alhambra

In terms of an alternative to Valaya Eau de Parfum I think this is far better than Mystique Bouquet which was previously known as the reigning dupe. However, this scent is not for me.
This is quite fresh and synthetic with a touch of peachy fruit. Upon just applying my sample after putting it away for a while, it turns extremely powdery and kind of overwhelming on my skin. For the price point of around $30 though, I think this is worth a try for anyone who likes those fresh, kind of powdery scents. The bottle is minimalist but pretty and I can see why it’s a crowd pleaser even though it’s not for me.

Delilah Blanc honestly surprised me. From the very first spray, it convinces without requiring much thought. It feels very feminine, clean, and floral.
The scent reminds me of that moment when freshly washed bed linen dries outside in the wind. When the sun warms the fabric and a gentle breeze carries the scent to you. It is that warm, soft, pure fragrance that you want to wrap yourself in immediately.
What surprised me the most is its intensity. I initially thought it would be lighter, but Delilah Blanc comes across as much more present and intense. The sillage and projection are stronger than one would expect from such a clean scent. I wore it while exercising and was approached multiple times about it.

The fragrance gives me absolute Clean Girl Vibes. Even if it might be a bit too floral for some for this trend, it fits perfectly into my image: sporty-casual clothing, a simple white shirt, a look that appears effortless, even though it is on point. This is exactly the feeling the fragrance conveys.

Moreover, Delilah Blanc is a true all-rounder. It suits every occasion and is perfect as a signature scent. A fragrance you can always reach for without going wrong.

And if you want something a bit special, it layers wonderfully. It harmonizes particularly well with:

• Grecia - French Avenue
• Marshmallow Dream - Kenzie
• Her Confession - Lattafa
• Hayati - Lattafa

These combinations give it different facets: creamy, sweet, fluffy, or floral - depending on what you feel like at the moment.

If you like Valaya Eau de Parfum and "Amara | Avapari," but find the synthetic notes annoying after a while (that's how I feel), then Delilah Blanc would be the right fragrance. It's clean, not in the sense of "The Muse | Zarkoperfume," but more like a summer breeze that makes your white cotton tunic flutter. I perceive peach and bergamot, fruity and citrusy, mandarin and vanilla - a wonderful combination. Airy, light, and clean, in the sense of white sheets drying in the summer wind. I like it... it’s going on the wishlist, no sillage monster, who needs that in summer? It envelops me in a delicate, beautiful veil.

Mandarin + Peach, where are you? To me, the scent smells synthetic, green, and aquatic. I tried it for the first time today, and I am not convinced by the fragrance. I had hoped for a clean summer scent for my collection, but Delilah Blanc leans more towards the green direction for me. The longevity is definitely a positive aspect. After 7 hours, I can still perceive it.

It really comes close to the original by PDM, which must be said, and is, in my opinion, the best alternative in terms of value for money.

For a fresh fragrance, its longevity is good, it gets noticed, and has already earned me the odd compliment.

However, I personally feel, as do some people who have smelled it on me over a longer period, that it somehow has a slightly piercing note. Of course, this can vary from skin to skin, but it sometimes does not seem entirely well-rounded to me. I absolutely love layering it, for example with Angham, Dalal, Delilah or with the muse, which balances out this note. For that reason, and considering the price, as I also feel that valaya is more of a fragrance that develops its strength when layered, it is a really good product.
