I can't stop smelling it
It took us a moment. I was a bit disappointed with the first spray, it was too green, too leafy for me. I was on the verge of washing it off.
A few days later I tried it layered with Solinotes Vanilla and it was fine! The vanilla sweetness goes perfectly with it!
Then I tried it again on its own and suddenly I really like it! It smells great like fig, very fresh, natural and after a while I can definitely smell coconut, even though it's not in the fragrance notes. (But I don't smell blackcurrant at all)
A great fragrance for the small price, somehow cozy and fresh at the same time, something different and yet classic, great to combine and after I sprayed it in the crook of my arm, I just can't stop smelling it!
Also great as a light bedtime scent.

Cherry candy with soap
I've been wanting to try the fragrance for a while and got the perfume in a set with the body spray, hand cream and body oil for a good price.
Sprayed on for the first time: is that cherry? Yes, cherry! And... soap?
Wait, is that cherry or cherry blossom? I'm still confused because it's called cherry blossom but it's only the fruit in the fragrance notes. Oh well.
To me it smells like cherry, but rather a bit synthetic, like a cherry chewy candy or something. And then a clean soapy note. So cherry chewy candy in soap, but in a good way!
It smells cheerful and fresh and somehow spring-like and a little girly. A fine little good mood fragrance for little money, if you want to smell fruity, sweet and clean-soapy!

Fondest memories and signature fragrance?
Last summer, my (then) boyfriend and I went to Norway for two and a half weeks. I quickly bought a shampoo and shower gel at the drugstore beforehand, as mine was empty anyway. I chose a shower gel from Jean&Len, a brand I love, and it was more of a coincidence that it was "Argan Oil & Fig".
The vacation was the best of my life and I returned home not only with a fiancé and the most wonderful memories of incredible nature, but also with the deliciously fruity-sweet scent of fig in my nose that the shower gel left behind.
(Don't worry, this is about Fleur de Figuier by Roger & Gallet and not just the shower gel by Jean&Len)
Now I was hooked on the scent and when my birthday was coming up a few months later, I googled my fingers to the bone to see which Figuier fragrance might be similar to my beloved shower gel and affordable enough for my future mother-in-law to wish for it without a guilty conscience. I came across "Fleur de Figuier" and so it became a kind of blind wish.
I unwrapped it at the birthday table in the restaurant, sprayed it and... it took me 2 seconds, but then I was immediately in love! Of course it doesn't smell exactly like the shower gel, but it smells like my new favorite fragrance! Fresh and fruity, I can smell the slightly tart and sour grapefruit with its citrus note and immediately the fruity fig, which has just the right slight sweetness without being heavy.
Wellbeing Fragrance Water (as it is now called) is a very good description, because when I smell it, I feel good!
Unfortunately, however, you can also tell from the longevity that it is not an eau de parfum.
(I saw here that there used to be a perfume of it, but I don't think it's available anywhere anymore? I would be interested!)
After a few minutes, the scent is a little weaker, but it doesn't change so much on my skin that I don't love it as much as I did at the beginning. After a few hours, it is unfortunately more of a faint fragrance memory, I can still feel it, but the already light fragrance now seems even quieter. But well, then you just have to spray it again or buy the solid perfume of the variety (I did and will test it soon!).
Overall, I like Fleur de Figuier so much that it has not only been my signature scent for over half a year, but also my only one I've worn. I'm curious to see if - and if so: when? - that will change. Perhaps towards fall/winter, because I see it particularly as a spring fragrance, I can also imagine it very well in summer, let's see how it develops in colder temperatures.
My conclusion: this fragrance reminds me of the best summer vacation of my life (especially when I combine it with the fig shower gel and the body lotion from J&L), makes me happy and I only wish it had a longer shelf life and sillage.
