Breathing in Eucalyptus in the Morning Mist

The first thing that comes to mind is an oxygen cocktail from childhood - that strange, airy foam that seems to disappear in your mouth. Eucalyptus mixed with something soft, soapy and creamy. Then I’m somewhere in humid subtropical mountains early in the morning. It’s already warm, but there’s still mist in the air and everything is wet after the rain. Damp greenery, wet wood, eucalyptus leaves crushed underfoot, releasing their sharp natural bitterness. Cool, slightly medicinal menthol against warm, creamy soap. Somehow, Koala feels warm and cold at the same time.

As it develops, it becomes more ozonic. Wet eucalyptus wood, creamy sandalwood, soft clean soapiness. But more than anything, there is air. So much air. It reminds me of walking through a familiar park just after the rain, when everything smells greener and the air itself seems cleaner. There’s something almost spa-like about it, but never in that generic hotel-spa way. It feels much more natural and alive.

Koala genuinely changes my mood. It makes me want to slow down, breathe more deeply and focus. A quiet morning, an open window, a cool breeze. Yoga, Pilates, meditation. It’s incredibly calming and grounding, while the eucalyptus and menthol keep it fresh and awake. Definitely not a party fragrance. Koala is wonderfully introverted - peaceful, airy and completely content with its own company.
