Check this out. This was reported on the news here a few years ago, some recent research debunking the long-standing belief that birds in general are less intelligent than other animals.

They say the hummingbirds migrate back to the same feeder every year. That is smart in my book.

To understand me correctly - I'm not "Anthropo-centrist", far from it; I do not think that human is wreath at the nature - actually, I find it the greatest evil that has befallen the planet.
Yes, many of these facts are known to me, and I agree that birds have very interesting abilities, behavior patterns, in relationship to each other and to the the environmental, some of them show extreme resourcefulness, even the use of tools (I've seen a magpie to use stone to break a walnut).
But ... I'm sorry - I will not be convinced by "observations" and the "conclusions" of the "specialist" Theodore XENOPHON Barber, that they have intelligence, that they have individual, unique personalities!
Mr. T.Xenophon Barber is free to write whatever he wants, I'm free to be skeptical.

True their consciousness is not equal to ours, but that doesn't seem to prevent my cats from having extremely individual personalities. The three of them couldn't be more different from one another.

I asked a friend of mine to adequately explain the difference between the two words COMPLETE and FINISHED.
Some people say there is no difference between COMPLETE and FINISHED.
However, there is a difference:
When you marry the right woman, you are COMPLETE.
And when you marry the wrong woman, you are FINISHED.
And when the right one catches you with the wrong one,
you are COMPLETELY FINISHED!!

The later you arrive, the more accurate is the diagnosis
