Parfumo hates Smileys!

Parfumo has a clean and lean design appropriate to the goal of this site, and we want to keep it like that. We want Parfumo to be a place for serious perfume discussions, and we also want to be acknowledged as a consumer organization by perfumers, professionals, lobbyists and the press who also visit Parfumo.

This is one of the reasons why the forum rules above contain this chapter:

„Smileys
Please use smileys sparingly in order not to annoy other users. Use the smileys provided by parfumo. Smileys from other sites are not accepted and will be deleted.“

I think I have seen some animated gifs of jumping bunnies or the like recently. This stuff is not welcome here. I will not delete in people's posts now, but we might do this in the future.

Please respect this webmaster's wish.

I'll say it again, I knew there was a reason I loved about this place.

Just to clarify: that was intended to be like one of those books where you flip the pages quickly to animate the illustrations.

Add a photo - YES.
Recently we have the option to add a photo, after the text already has been submitted. This is a great feature to add a little spice to the posts.


The good thing is that the picture can get enlarged by clicking on it.
