Pipette:Sherapop:By the way, Apicius, on an unrelated note:
I've been thinking about posting a text at the salon de parfum called
"Are Perfumistas Like Porn Addicts?"
I was afraid that I might offend someone, but now that you've broken the ice, I might be able to muster up the confidence to do it! Of course, by posting the word 'porn' at my blog, my lascivious visitors will skyrocket. I already have scores of people visiting in search of "group orgy" and "prostitutes". Imagine what the naked word 'porn' would do for my stats! Perhaps before posting the article I should first monetize my blog with a link to a sex toys shop.
When you run a blog, you are exposed already. Probably, over the years, you have "seen it all". Perhaps you can write such an article but tone down the words that - by default - create "red flags" in the computer/internet world, and then the sexy responses don't come in hoards pursuing you when you only wanted to make a statement or peacefully discuss an issue.
You never know who is lurking out there, ready to pounce on sexy content.
To be honest, none of it bothers me in the least. I never knew that I would learn so much about human beings by mounting a simple blog for the philosophical discussion of perfume! Now I know what all of those people are really doing when they gaze fixedly at their devices on the commute home.
