lately i've been on some kind of hunt for songs that have similar structure/feeling/vibe to this mortal coil - song to the siren and i've found it in those caroline polachek's songs: hopedrunk everasking, insomnia and parachute. minimal synth ballads with powerful sirenic vocals are on my radar, so those four tunes are currently on repeat
