I read that one, Cincy. I think you'll enjoy it. If I'm remembering correctly it's set in WWII and is filled with dark secrets and a crazy or two. Smile

First chapter .... he is coming home from the war injured. His wife is dead, found in a lake. His SIL is taking care of his child Ruth.

Is that the one Cryptic?

That's it, Cincy. I remember it being quite a page-turner.

I just started The Diaries of Pontius Pilate by Joseph Max Lewis, so far so good ... mystery/thriller.

"Breathing Out" by Peggy Lipton. I watched her as "Julie" in the Mod Squad. She always seemed so sure of herself and the perfect person.

- A Song of Ice and Fire: A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin

Stuck in volume 5 ..

Wish I was able to get to the fifth...
But, I think, the whole series will remain gathering dust on my shelves.
For the third time I have begun the first book... There is something very wrong with the writing style of this person IMHO, and literally force myself to continue reading.

Apart from that, it seems to me like an end in itself using the twists in the storyline, as well the destroying individual characters, or entire storylines, respectively.

One of the characters is a fictionalized version of Madame Zed, the mysterious nose behind My Sin. A fun read so far.
