I’m trying to move toward buying exclusively cruelty-free full bottles.
There are several Diptyque scents I love, but since they sell in mainland China where animal testing is required, they’re not a truly cruelty-free brand.
I’ve found swaps for some of their scents (D.S. & Durga’s Debaser instead of Philosykos, for instance) but have never come across a cruelty-free sandalwood fragrance I love as much as Tam Dao EDT.
Does anyone have recommendations for cruelty-free brands with a similar fragrance (bonus if it lasts longer as well!)?
I’ve tried Maison Louis Marie No. 4 Bois de Balincourt and Glossier You Doux, but both lean a bit too pickle-y and lack the creaminess in the drydown that is so addictive in Tam Dao. I’ve also tried (and love) Zoologist Chipmunk but that’s a bit warmer and spicier than what I’m looking for.
