I was hoping you'd sort this out Cryptic! Those perfumes have rather unromantic sounding names. There's a kind of abrupt, no-nonsense bluntness about them - like something you'd find at Ikea (you know, the Skarb shelving or the Blask lamp).

Was the clue a quote of some sort, because I want you to know that I arrived at the answer all by myself (!) after thinking about the words: lick, coat and fumes. I honestly didn't think there'd be a perfume with that name, but Demeter seems to have all of life's odours covered.

I know that you are a fan of 24 Gold by ScentStory. There is also a platinum edition and gold/platinum/oud flankers. No "gems", though the terms carat and karat relate to gems and gold respectively. 24 karat is 100% gold (perhaps the 'everything' you mention?).
