Criticized for perfume application method

77 year old Yvonne LaFleur getting some heat for her perfume application method she displayed on TikTok. Classy lady who should do what she wants, IMO.

The rubbing is a bit excessive and will get rid of the top notes very quickly, but it's not necessarily wrong. This is essentially how you rub on pure perfume/attars. And personally, I wouldn't spray on my hands, but like she says, she talks with her hands and shows people stuff from across a counter, so her hands are the closest to customers. 

This why I refuse to use TikTok. I avoid a lot of drama, stress, toxic 💩 etc. YouTube is bad enough. 🫣 

Anyway, the Perfumerist iirc said you shouldn’t rub fragrance after you apply it and she has formally studied perfume, sooo…
